* Every version of Franchise/TheFlash uses a yellow lightning bolt as part of his costumery. Thunder and lightning are a near-ubiquitous motif for the Flash family; their power source, the [[TheLifestream Speed Force]], is sometimes physically represented as an eternal thunderstorm. DependingOnTheArtist, the Flash even leaves trails of yellow electricity (usually emanating from the yellow parts of his costume, as the quirk ''started'' from being a visual representation of their fast movement, before SerialEscelation lead to it becoming genuine lightning). The yellow colour is somewhat justified by the fact the Speed Force isn't normal lightning, but a magical, metaphysical force that just ''looks'' like lightning, thus explaining [[LightningCanDoAnything why it can do anything.]]
