* ''WesternAnimation/MarthaSpeaks'' has an ImagineSpot which stars "My Fluffy Puppy". It's used to give an aesop against MerchandiseDriven products. Its also another ActorAllusion, this time for Creator/TabithaStGermain, who voices the titular Martha (She currently voices Rarity, Princess Luna, and a few others. Also, she has voiced other pony characters in past incarnations of ''Franchise/MyLittlePony'').

* ''Pony Puff Princess'' is a recurring gag in ''WesternAnimation/DextersLaboratory'', and the ponies were actually ''villains'' in one of the sillier episodes. The franchise also appears in ''WesternAnimation/ThePowerpuffGirls''.
** More like [[AntiVillain Anti-Villains]], since they despise boy stuff like Action Hank, an expy of Creator/MrT, Film/{{Shaft}}, and Franchise/GIJoe (also another Hasbro franchise).

Parodies and homages typically are [[ShowWithinAShow shows within a show]] featuring AlwaysFemale pastel ponies (or other pastel animals) who can talk and have [[TastesLikeDiabetes cutesy names]]. [[ChestInsignia Flank/Rear Insignias]] are common but not a requirement. With the popularity of ''[[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic Friendship Is Magic]]'' with older audiences -- partly because the series almost completely subverts the image of the original -- parodies have begun taking after it and are often more positive than previous depictions (or just poking fun at the fact that there is an older audience).
