* Kenshi from ''Franchise/MortalKombat'' is blind due to an unfortunate incident involving Shang Tsung, a mystic well, and a family heirloom sword. He was actually quite polite and reserved in the original timeline, but as of the altered Netherrealm Studios timeline, he has become extremely sarcastic, especially with the release of ''VideoGame/MortalKombatX'' where custom pre-battle banter is a new feature.

** The arms-less Rin Tezuka subverts this. She's introduced as a huge snarker in the common stages, but in ''her'' own route her sarcasm takes a backseat as [[SarcasmBlind her]] [[MuseAbuse other]] [[NotGoodWithPeople sides]] [[PlayedForDrama are treated]] ''[[PlayedForDrama far]]'' [[PlayedForDrama more seriously]].

** DarthWiki/DarthVader is a DarkLordOnLifeSupport, and also fond of accompanying his trademark PsychicStrangle with a BondOneLiner or other witty remark:

* Louis Braille (the guy who invented Braille). If biographies written about him are of any merit, he tended to be an arrogant jerkass, believing all of France was against his idea and generally acted like a martyr because he was blind. In one of the biographies about him, this drove a big wedge between him and his girlfriend who soon left him for another man.

* Australian journalist and stand-up comic Stella Young was well-known for her foul-mouthed zingers.

* Alexander Pope, the eighteenth century poet. He was an [[IllBoy Ill Guy]] for much of his life due to a form of tuberculosis, and wrote several famous satires of the follies of his contemporaries.

* A ''lot'' of disabled/handicapped people are this way in real life as a response to how non-disabled people treat them ([[KickTheDog intentionally]] [[InnocentlyInsensitive or not]]), either as coping mechanism towards genuinely discriminating/dehumanizing/degrading/etc. behavior or as a reaction to [[CondescendingCompassion non-disabled people reducing them solely]] to [[DisabledMeansHelpless their disabilities]]. This can sometimes lead to DisabilityAsAnExcuseForJerkassery, but everyone has bad days.
** Despite having an odd sense of humor or not understanding some types of humor well being a hallmark of Autism Spectrum Disorder, some autistic folks can be really good at snarking, either on purpose or simply by coming off as [[DeadpanSnarker having a flat affect]]. There's also at least one autistic comedian who jokes about her struggles and experience with being on the spectrum.
