* [[Literature/NightlandersACyberpunkFairytale Nightlanders :: A Cyberpunk Fairytale]] is a very trippy take on the genre, and was inspired directly by TabletopGame/Shadowrun. Genetically augmented, cybernetic, half-monsters are at least as common as regular humans, and one of the main cast is an AI. Nightlanders is all about a fractured, warped, almost TVShow/BlackMirror esq nightmare-world set in a crumbling former Utopia.

* ''Anime/TheGrimmVariations'': The shows adaptation of ''Literature/LittleRedRidingHood'' takes place in a cyberpunk dystopia where the wealthy elite live in a futuristic city where AugmentedReality is used to overlay whatever fantasy the viewer wants over the sterile white buildings and other people. Said city stands in the middle of the crumbling ruins of a much older city, which is where the poor people live.

While countries like Great Britain, USA and China have difficulty maintaining order and power, international organizations like the "Sacred Republic of Munma" and "Poseidon" have been established in the aftermath.

* ''WesternAnimation/AngelWars'': Environments in the human world borrow a lot from this aesthetic, showing a gritty, corrupt, and sometimes dangerous world full of reasons for humans to be cynical, sad, and even wicked. All the better for Heaven to intervene.

* ''Manga/Moscow2160'': In a world where Soviet Union didn't collapse, augmentated people became a usual thing. Moscow, on the other hand, is covered by a web of cables from Ostankino Radiotower and has ghettos where prostitutes offer their services.
