Maybe that character is born out/modified because of an ExecutiveMeddling, maybe he realized that he has wrote the character wrongly, maybe the creator is pressed because the character he intended to be unlikable ends up having a lot of fans.

The opposite of CreatorsFavorite, where a character is well liked by the creator. Not to be confused with CreatorsPet, where a character that is loved by a creator but the fans hated that character.
