* Roleplay/DCNation keeps mosat of its action on the main comm, but some of the players use the character journals to play out side stories or make in-character comments on the plot lines.

* Theatre/TheDrowsyChaperone did this with the Man In Chair during the Broadway run, and some local productions have vlogs or even Facebook pages for him.

* WebOriginal/{{Eddie|AtTheLMV}} and Robbie both have Twitter accounts that they often update. Eddie does more than Robbie, though; Robbie mostly replies to Eddie's tweets. Also, Robbie has a [=YouTube=] account too and comments on The LMV's channel.

* The Website/SomethingAwful LetsPlay of ''VideoGame/{{Persona 3}}'', ''FanFic/MyLifeIsAGoddamnMess'', makes [[http://fromearth.net/LetsPlay/Persona3/Update%202/index.html itself]] into the Website/LiveJournal of the main character (under the name of Minato Arisato and using the profile name Ramenboi1990) describing his adventures, with occasional comments by the other characters (apparently even [[RobotGirl Aigis]] has a blog). Excerpts from Junpei and Yukari's blogs are occasionally seen, mostly describing Minato's actions from a second-person viewpoint.
* [[http://twitter.com/P3_Protagonist @P3_Protagonist]] follows the events of the main character in (more or less) real time, as the time period of the game currently corresponds with ours. [[http://twitter.com/BoxerhikoSanada Akihiko]] and others (including VideoGame/{{Persona 4}} characters) are apparently all Friends.
* ''Roleplay/SurvivalOfTheFittest'' has an example which falls mostly into the second variety, as excerpts from the blog of Quincy Archer, Sound and Fury, have been inserted into a number of posts. A few characters from the IU chatroom (where in-universe "fans" of the show talk to each other about the events in the game) currently have their own Twitters as of the start of v4. As you might expect, they contain commentary on the events of the current version. There's also [[http://sotftv.blogspot.com/ Survival of the Snarkiest]], which is similar to the above. Basically it's an in-universe blog for Mini site's SOTF-TV (basically "normal" ''Survival of the Fittest'' as a RealityTV show) similar to Website/TelevisionWithoutPity, in which "fans" of the show submit posts about current events in the game.
* The whole ''point'' of Blog/TheTyrannosaurChronicles.
* The author of [[http://www.autoroutem60.co.cc/blog this blog on British roads and traffic and road signing]] manages to make this trope an EnforcedTrope, a JustifiedTrope, a NecessaryWeasel, a ZigZaggingTrope and an ExploitedTrope. All this for a non-fiction blog about the inner workings of the British roads/traffic signing and road signing industry. It's unusual, considering this is non-fiction, but then WordOfGod tells us it ''is'' a PenName who writes the blog...
* There's also [[http://nevermedia.blogspot.com/ Never Media,]] which is both a Character Blog and a Review Blog, involving a vampire who analyzes vampire fiction.
* Several of the characters in ''Literature/ShadowUnit'' have livejournal accounts (you can friend and comment on them, even- just don't mention that the [[http://standuponit.livejournal.com/ blog owners]] are fictional). They both expand on the story and act as normal blogs, talking about what the character cooked last night or new music they found.
* A lot of role-playing profiles on Website/MySpace doubled as a character blog. Whether or not they would interact with non-roleplayers depended on the person behind the profile. Almost all of them were fan-made, though. The number of these decreased dramatically once people abandoned the site en masse for Facebook but there are still a few around (mainly because Facebook deletes these kinds of pages regularly).
* The whole of the {{Personifications}} subfandom run solely through character blogs of various personifications such as the [[EmbodimentOfVice Seven Deadly Sins]] and their [[EmbodimentOfVirtue opposites]].

* ''Podcast/ItMakesASound'' is the fictional amateur radio show of music superfan Deirdre Gardner. Her official website [[https://itmakesasound.tumblr.com www.itmakesasound.rocks]] is as ambitious in promise and endearingly [[StylisticSuck slapdash]] in execution as her show. (the crayon and cardstock background she's provided has coffee stains on it) She invites her listeners to contact her through it, to send her their completed "Unpacking the Attic" freewriting exercises, and information on where to find a cassette tape player.
* ''Blog/CrossingKevinsCrossing'' is fictional blog by an unnamed narrator reporting on the mysteries they uncover in the titular small town.

* ''Creator/{{Sanrio}}'' created an [[https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyof-1Ko_jy2sOtivyTpc4Q official Youtube Channel]] for ''Franchise/HelloKitty'' on December 29, 2018. The channel stars Hello Kitty with occasinal guest apperances by other Sanrio characters such as Dear Daniel, Gudetama, and Mimmy. While the channel is in Japanese, it comes with English subtitles.

* ''Toys/{{Bionicle}}'' has done two online serials this way with a blog written by Gali in 2007 and a Takanuva Blog in 2008. Takanuva's blog though generally retells the climax of the 2008 arc from his perspective.

* Amanda Waller started a blog (written by her creator John Ostrander) as a tie-in to the GreenLantern movie.

* Mr. Gus from ''WesternAnimation/UncleGrandpa'' has [[http://mister-gus.tumblr.com/ an official one of these]] but most of the content of his blog is in regards to his Gemsona (a ''WesternAnimation/StevenUniverse'' Gem OC) Mr. Gusite and participating in a fandom event called "Gemsona Week". This is all leading up to [[Recap/StevenUniverseS2E4SayUncle the crossover episode]] wherein Mr. Gus is seen working on a picture of Mr. Gusite which is then defaced by Pizza Steve. The blog's final post is a piece of Mr. Gusite fanart drawn by the creator of Steven Universe, Rebecca Sugar herself! Mr. Gus figured Uncle Grandpa called in a favor to cheer him up.

* Albert from ''Anime/{{Gankutsuou}}'' had a [[http://albert0829.blogzine.jp/index/ blog]] written by, iirc, the scenario writer of the series as an unofficial sequel to the series. It chronicled his days on Janina where he met various people from his past, including someone who was ''very'' heavily implied to be the Count in disguise. His friends from Earth often left comments on the entries. (Before you start wondering: yes, it ''was'' officially recognized. The [[http://gankutsuou.blogzine.jp/ official blog]] even links to it.)
