The original shot was ruined by a crowd standing behind police barricades getting filmed, so, to save time in production, a team of French stunt drivers recreated the stunt. Unfortunately, they [[EpicFail drove on the wrong wheels]]. Guy Hamilton spotted the mistake, but Albert "Cubby" Broccoli refused to reshoot the stunt, so the production team filmed an interior shot where the car switches from one side to the other to handwave this.
