* The GameInformer review of ''FarmVille''. They didn't actually find the game bad on its own merits...they found it bad merely because it was a "Casual" game and trashed upon traits of it. People who like those types of games typically won't take those reviews seriously; because they want to know if it's a ''good'' game or not, not "I hate this because of the type of game it is". If they wanted to hear those opinions, they would hang out around the IGN or Escapist forums.

This may be because he [[PetPeeveTrope hates a particular trope]] or [[DarthWiki just likes hating in general]]. Then again, he may be an fan of the series/franchise/creator who, out of loyalty, never fails to give the most glowing of praise. In any case, the damage to the review is such that it becomes too biased to be useful. (When a reviewer does this, people tend to ignore it, when fans often use it, it becomes a justified use of DontLikeDontRead)

* ThisWiki. You tend to find users trying to put [[TropesAreNotGood bad tropes]] on [[ComplainingAboutShowsYouDontWatch shows they didn't like]]. Sometimes justified. Sometimes not.

*** His review of Super Mario Galaxy 2 was less about the game itself, in which he said was actually good, but more about how he felt about the Nintendo fan base being nothing more but anti-social nerds. Repeat, a gaming reviewer that hates nerds. Nerds of what he considers the anti-Christ of gaming console for not appealing to the "hardcore", he states having the largest committed fan-base? * TheNostalgiaCritic has little love for just about anything he reviews that he didn't grow up on, or is a new permutation of something he did grow up on. On the other hand, he also tends to be critical of the stuff he actually does like, a lot of the time for the humour factor. (He admitted that he actually does like ''AdventuresOfSonicTheHedgehog'' in an interview and on the site's commentary, but that he found it funny to rip it to shreds on camera)

It's not uncommon to find reviews that were merely FlameBait or didn't find the game bad on its own merits, but said "This game sucks because it's an RPG", "This game sucks because it's an FPS", "This game rules because it's a point and click adventure game", "This game sucks and has shitty graphics", "This game sucks because it's a Nintendo game", or "This game rules because it's a Bungie game". Naturally, most people tend to regard these reviews as inaccurate because there are a lot of reviews that are just too biased to be taken seriously.

** In a review that is mostly "ITS ANIMU THEREFORE....". So yeah bias steam roller

** Speaking of which, TVTropes seems to absolutely LOVE ThatGuyWithTheGlasses. I swear, I've been on here for a year and seen only piles of praise for it. [[AndThatsTerrible Which is sad]], because I [[SoBadItsHorrible don't like it.]]

** Really this probably shouldn't be here, at least not for the listed reasons. He doesn't pan Wii games, he pans ALL games except for those that work exceptionally well. His major complaint about the Wii is the fact that the motion controls are often buggy, making an otherwise good game unplayable. 90 percent of the time he pans a game, it is for perfectly legitamate reasons. The only time he becomes a Bias Steamroller is when he is reveiwing a genre that he can't wrap his head around, and at the end of the review, he's likely to say that that was the reason he panned it
