*** Some people think that since Gen 9's Fuecoco is based on a pepper or an apple, which are both plants, it looks like it should be part Grass-type, yet it's a pure Fire-type. This has led to speculation that it will evolve into a Fire/Grass-type to remedy this, despite that this would be very unconventional for starters because there is already a Grass-type starter for this gen.

*** What's even more baffling about Gyarados is that in the visual media, like the anime, it is very rarely if ever shown actually flying, and is more often portrayed as being completely unable to fly. It's Flying-typing is obviously referencing the myth it's based on, but it makes no sense in-universe.

* While there are exceptions to the rule and no one's "interpretation" is perfect, generally you can get some idea of a person's personality from their face. This is theorized to be because a person's personality and physical features are actually linked somehow, with possibly things like hormones and the same genes effecting both specific facial features and personality traits. We evolved to pick up on this. That said, there are plenty of psychopaths, manipulators, rapists, liars, and other dangerous or unpleasant people that look and act like some combination of trustworthy, nice, attractive, average, or friendly, so it's not wise to gullibly trust people just because they happen to look a certain way.
