* FormulaBreakingEpisode: The story has a prologue involving a man uncovering the mummy, a part with a different protagonist facing Slappy, and then introduces the proper protagonist. There's also the fact that this deals with Slappy having to fight a bigger enemy, rather than the usual stuff.

* ShoutOut: The title is an homage to the Abbot and Costello movies such as ''Film/AbbottAndCostelloMeetFrankenstein''.

The ''Literature/{{Goosebumps}} [=SlappyWorld=]'' book where Slappy meets a mummy.

Cathy O'Connor's father owns the local Haunted Horror Museum, a popular location filled with spooky items. They've been wanting a mummy for the longest time, and now they finally have one with the ancient Arragotus. However, someone dumps Slappy on their doorstep. Soon, they both come to life and once they realize the other exists, no one is safe. Can Cathy stops them both before anyone is destroyed?

----
!!This book provides examples of:

* AdultsAreUseless: Played straight at first but later subverted as Cathy's dad sees the mummy come to life and tries to fight it off. He fails but it's a good effort.
* BloodierAndGorier: Surprisingly for a [=SlappyWorld=] entry, there's a gruesome scene early on when [[spoiler: Arragotus tears someone's face up.]]
* ChekhovsHobby: Shannon likes to tickle people, to Cathy's annoyance. [[spoiler: She defeats the mummy by tickling him.]]
* CoversAlwaysLie: The cover depicts the two somewhere that clearly isn't the inside of a museum.
* HereWeGoAgain: Cathy tries to read the words to put Slappy to sleep [[spoiler: but reads the words to bring the mummy to life instead.]]
* LesserOfTwoEvils: Slappy is still his usual self but this time there's also a mummy who wants to straight up kill the kids. The kids even bring Slappy to life hoping he'll help them. He does but of course it's not for noble reasons.
* {{Mummy}}: While far from the first book to feature a mummy, this book marks the first time that one serves as a straight-up antagonist.
* MuseumOfTheStrangeAndUnusual: The story is set in a horror-themed museum that has some oddities in it. Over the course of the story, Slappy brings some of them to life.
* NewPowersAsThePlotDemands: In this book, Slappy now randomly has laser eyes, as well as the ability to brings things to life that aren't other dummies.
* ShoutOut: The title is an homage to the Abbot and Costello movies such as ''Film/AbbottAndCostelloMeetFrankenstein''.
* SomethingCompletelyDifferent: The story has a prologue involving a man uncovering the mummy, a part with a different protagonist facing Slappy, and then introduces the proper protagonist. There's also the fact that this deals with Slappy having to fight a bigger enemy, rather than the usual stuff.
