In the first novel, ''The Tell-Tale Con'', Talia gets roped into helping Harrison figure out who is trying to convince him that he's being haunted by a demon. But what starts off as investigating a childish prank becomes much more serious when somebody gets murdered and Harrison becomes suspect number one. Now, they'll have to deal with an annoying GoodCopBadCop duo, a person who looks like [[Music/TheRollingStones Mick Jagger]] in drag who's trying to kill them, and the fact that they have absolutely no idea what they're doing.

Your Mileage May Vary is an index, not a trope. It should not be linked from any trope or work page for any reason. Also, Examples Are Not Recent, and neither are the works that use them, and just a trope name or just a trope name and a character name is not enough context - the example should be understandable by everyone, whether they\'ve read the books or not.
