** Background: Vantar was born to unknown parents in a Schnee Dust Company-owned quarry, forced to labour down in the mines as soon as he could swing a pickaxe. His Faunus traits had reached their current state by a young age - the only thing that saved his life when a mine support gave way, burying him, his parents, and dozens of other Faunus workers under tonnes of rock. Half-mad with pain and deranged by the loss of his parents, Vantar managed to dig his way out into a more stable area before breaching the ground outside the mine. His freedom was not to be enjoyed for long, however. Upon reaching a nearby town, he was attacked by the population, believing him to be some new form of Grimm. Though he escaped alive, he bore scars upon mind and body alike forevermore. From there, his life consisted of fleeing from town to town, scavenging from waste and stealing what he needed to survive. He soon made his first kills - an SDC mercenary team, sent to return him to the mines. Driven berserk by the memories they recalled, Vantar butchered the entire team at the cost of severe wounds. Subsequently found by a group of White Fang, he was inducted into the group and taught that only by aiding them could he avoid death at human hands - accompanied by sob stories from the Faunus members of the White Fang, it stoked the fire of his anger into a furnace-hot firestorm of hate toward humanity. Yet when he saw their actions firsthand, he turned against them, viewing them as no better than the humans they sought vengeance against. Hunted by both sides, he managed to slip away to Menagerie - within the uninhabitable deserts, Vantar managed to unlock both his Aura and Semblance through intense training, fragmentary knowledge, and several near-death experiences. Vantar subsequently moved to Shade Academy with the intent of gaining further understanding of his newfound powers - for the moment, he remains there.

Horrid Moloch by Zornech
* A Grimm indigenous to Menagerie, which resembles a lizard covered in jagged spikes, with striking horns on its head. This Grimm rarely leaves its chosen dwelling, waiting for agitated travelers to pass. It can project an illusion of itself that makes it look gigantic to inspire fear in humans and Faunus that cross it. It harms its target by pushing itself against them to damage their armor or skin. It is extremely hard to harm a Moloch due to its hard scales, but if one can stand to grip it it'll be largely helpless and can be tossed a great distance. A strong enough impact can kill Horrid Molochs this way. The Molochs are also drawn naturally to dew on plants, despite not needing water to live. This is speculated to a method of ensuring they contact Huntsmen and Huntresses who may be searching for supplies.

** Rajah is fun-loving and easygoing until you threaten his team (especially Onyx, whom he has a thing for, and has ever since they first met). He’s a bit of a playful personality, and grew up in a group home in Menagerie after he was abandoned by his human parents. He actually met Onyx before they formed up on a team at Haven, albeit very briefly. His attraction to Onyx was sort of a love-at-first-sight thing, until he got to know her and really fell for her.

Team ORNG (Pronounce ‘Orange’) by AuraSweet (Graduates of Haven Academy)
* Onyx Li
** Bat Faunus (Wings)
** Semblance: Night Vision (can see in the dark or in excessively foggy/smoky areas with ease)-when she uses her semblance, her brown eyes glow yellow. It’s pretty draining for her to use, though she’s never been able to understand why.
** Weapon: Nightmare, a sleek black bow tweaked to make it able to fire up to four arrows at once if she so chooses, but usually she keeps it to two arrows (unless it’s against the Grimm).
** Looks: Sleek, straight black hair and brown eyes as well as skin that’s a mixture between pale and fair. Also sports a pair of sleek black bat wings that are a little lighter on the webbing. Normally wears a long sleeved black top with silver accents, black jeans and grey boots. She wears a cloak that resembles a beizi to cover up her wings as a student, but no longer wears it as an adult and a graduate of Haven Academy. Instead she wears jackets over top of her outfit that differ in material and length depending on the weather.
** Description: Onyx grew up in Menagerie, in a family of Bat Faunus. But as much as she loves her family and her home, she wants more out of life, especially when things start getting worse in the surrounding areas. Which led to her applying to Haven Academy, and proving to be pretty skilled at taking down Grimm and protecting people. Her favorite Grimm to fight are the airborne ones so she can stretch her wings. When she first started at Haven, she always wore a long, flowing back cloak to conceal her wings around campus-not because of shame, but because of fear of being bullied for what she is by the other students-and it wasn’t until her team’s first Vytal Festival that she dropped her cloak to show people what she could do. The exception to this rule is around her teammates-all of whom are Faunus like she is. But by her second year, she stops wearing her cloak entirely.
* Rajah Rosewood
** Mongoose (Common grey) Faunus (Ears)
** Semblance: Weather Control (Mist)-He can create Mist, thus activating Onyx’s semblance while at the same time making it hard for their opponents to see. He doesn’t use it with Grimm, only with human/Faunus enemies but it allowed their team to advance to the finals in their Vytal Festival.
** Weapon: Redwood, a sleek light red Bō. He’s more of a close range fighter than Onyx, which doesn’t always work out in their favor-quite the opposite in fact.
** Looks: Rajah has light brown skin, warm brown eyes and dark brown hair. He usually wears a light orange shirt under a dark red jacket, with white jeans, brown boots, and doesn’t even try to hide his ears.
* Napier Marks
** Snake Faunus (Yellow slitted eyes)
** Semblance: Unknown/untapped
** Weapon: A pair of boomerangs that also function as daggers when he needs them to. Their names are unknown.
** Looks: Dark green hair, yellow slitted eyes that he usually covers with sunglasses because his eyes are so sensitive to the light, fair skin. He’s pretty lean with some muscles. A lighter green vest, a pair of blue jeans, and a pair of white running shoes.
** Description: Napier is a bit of an enigma in that no one except his team knows his story or where he came from, and they all let him swear them to secrecy about discussing it. He met Onyx, Rajah and Ghost in their time at Haven when they decided to form a team. His eyes are extremely sensitive to the light, so he often wears very dark sunglasses (which has gotten him in trouble before, until he shows them his eyes, at which point they promptly back off). Napier considers his sexuality to be fluid, but has a preference for men. That being said, he did flirt remorselessly with Ghost when they first met (until Ghost told him that she was gay)
* Ghost Glaucous
** Arctic Fox Faunus (White tail)
** Semblance: Agility. Similar to Ruby’s, except instead of going in one direction as quickly as possible, she has the ability to change direction fluidly without having to stop and start moving in order to do so. Also makes it easier for her to dodge attacks. But she can only use it for short bursts at a time, so if she’s being barraged by attacks she can’t just keep using it, she has to stop and take breaks.
** Weapon: Snow Falls, a long sword empowered by Ice Dust.
** Looks: Very light blonde hair, blue eyes and fair skin, with a white fox tail. Her clothing is mostly white, with some silver, light blue and gray thrown into the mix for variety. Her outfit is usually a frilly top and shorts or skirts-she almost refuses to wear pants entirely.
** Description: Ghost is a friendly, upbeat girl whose personality is contagious. It’s almost impossible to be unhappy when she’s around. She lived with her father whom she adored, before coming to study at Haven and meeting up with Onyx, Rajah and Napier. She is gay, and openly so.

* The ferocious Aggromantula Grimm are enormous spiders known for paralyzing venom and intensely aggressive (hence the name) attacks on virtually anything nearby that isn't them. They're often found in large swarms, lead by an Aggromantula Queen, pictured above. Found primarily on the Isle of Menagerie, they're viciously territorial, even against other Grimm, and once they entrench themselves its almost impossible to wipe them all out. All it takes is one survivor growing to be a new Queen, and a new brood starts building...

Sundowner Carapace by @/
* A large combat walker, with the heavily armoured ‘chest’ serving as the cockpit for its crippled pilot, one Lead Vledig. A large rotary cannon is mounted on one ‘arm’ of the walker, while the other bears a more standard arm, ending in an appropriately sized and articulated fist with incorporated flamethrower-style weapon. Weapons can be changed as needed – when larger Grimm are expected to be fought, the rotary cannon is usually disconnected and replaced by a heavier, dust-powered energy cannon. The walker as a whole is equipped with a large number of sensors, which project the view of the outside into the cockpit to aid Vledig in piloting it. Despite its size, the Carapace has proven itself capable of near-human movement and dexterity, being capable of almost running at the cost of decreased accuracy.
** The Carapace itself is shielded by Vledig's Aura, which overlays the armour of the Carapace itself. Despite this protection, the armour bears numerous scars from blade, bullet, and claw alike. Vledig's name is engraved on the chest, directly beneath the main cockpit.
** The fist resembles a standard human fist (appropriately sized for the Carapace), with the fifth finger missing. A reservoir of Fire Dust is located behind the fist, higher up the arm, with a connection to the flamethrower attachment beneath the fist itself. This fist is generally used for close range assaults, or when clearing structures of more human targets.

* Cinerus Vledig First name roughly means 'Gray' by Clockwork_Heart
--> “Revenge is a dish best served dry.”
** Kingdom Association: Atlas, Huntsman student. Member of team CTDL (Citadel).

** Species: Human.

** Colour Scheme: Lead, gunmetal, and burnished iron.

** Semblance: Siegemaster – the ability to generate weapons, fortifications, and simple/complex traps from the surroundings. Vledig is immobile when using this, but becomes able to manipulate more territory and create more complex devices over time. However, should Vledig move, already-created fortifications begin to collapse, and autonomous entities created by his ability decrease in combat capability. Extremely dangerous in an urban environment, due to the abundance of potential trap zones, choke-points, and terrain features.

** Weapon: Sundowner Carapace – effectively a walking tank, with the speed and weaponry to match. Vledig tends to pilot it in person, though it can be remotely operated. Weapons of the Sundowner Carapace vary based on deployment, though the basic loadout, appearance, etc. is noted in Weapon Ideas.

** Description: The (literal) tank and commander of his team (CTDL, pronounced ‘Citadel’), Vledig uses his weapon and Semblance to block major blows and return fire, simultaneously warping the battlefield to aid friends and hinder foes. Extremely effective when combined with the rest of CTDL, he has nonetheless proven moderately effective against multiple threats on his more recent solo deployments.

**Appearance: Three limbs (both legs and one arm), one eye, and vocal cords missing, replaced with appropriate prosthetics. Quite short in physical height, though no-one’s ever seen enough of him to truly tell. On the rare occasions he’s seen outside his Carapace, he wears a hooded grey robe and iron mask. Unlike many Huntsmen, bears battle damage to his weapon-shell with pride as long as it does not affect his performance – supposedly, he is proud of these marks, viewing them as a testament to his ability to fight and survive.

**Personality: Should he sleep, nightmares of his home’s fall wrack him. Should he be awake, the pain of old wounds returns. Vledig is in a near-perpetual state of anger as a result, though he has learned to think clearly and suppress such anger, to an extent. Blunt and pragmatic, he tends to focus on the completion of a task or mission above all else, though he has shown something of a rapport with his teammates. When facing a White Fang force, the results tend to be a CurbStompBattle, accompanied by unpredictable outbursts of rage and downright obscene amounts of overkill toward said White Fang members. Despises having to operate outside his Carapace due to his vastly weakened form.

**Motives: The destruction of the White Fang and Grimm, no matter the cost. Vledig joined CTDL after a White Fang splinter group attacked his hometown, leaving it open to the depredations of various Grimm.

** Background: Cinerus Vledig grew up in a small village in the far north of Atlas, as the son of an Atlas soldier and an engineer. The village was lost when a White Fang splinter group launched an attack on the settlement – a string of bombings crippled its defences, laying out a veritable buffet for nearby Grimm. Almost the entire village was butchered and Vledig himself crippled, surviving only due to the intervention of an Atlas Huntsman team. Extensive training in the Academy unlocked his Aura (though he remained crippled by his old wounds) and his Semblance, while his weapon was crafted to suit his damaged body.

* Dettela Tanner by Clockwork_Heart
--> “No-one survives my bite. You will not be an exception.”
** Kingdom Association: Atlas, Huntress Student. Member of CTDL.
** Species: Snake Faunus (Fangs, with venom).
** Colour scheme: Dark tan, with brownish-green edges.
** Semblance: Envenomate – Dettela is able to produce extremely powerful venoms within her body, and expel them through the skin or through fluids. These venoms can vary from paralytics, to poisons capable of killing dozens of targets with relatively small doses. However, this is indiscriminate – her venoms can harm allies as easily as enemies. Additionally, larger species of Grimm have displayed partial resistance to these venoms.
** Weapon(s): Jormungandr and Hydra – a pair of claw-fingered gauntlets, with in-built venom chambers. Upon penetration of a target’s skin, venom will pump through the claws and enter the victim’s body to cause harm. Each blade draws from a different venom chamber, allowing the mix of poisons to vary. Both weapons are hand-engraved with the words ‘Venenum Etiam in aeri, venenum in mare’, with one half of the sentence on each gauntlet. Rough translation: Poison in the sky, poison in the sea.
** Description: The assassin and debilitation fighter of CTDL, Dettela specialises in hit-and-run frenzy strikes, dealing several poison-laced blows in seconds before retreating to let her venom take effect. Her fighting style allows her to tie up enemies, weakening them enough for the big guns of her team to shred them. Due to the nature of her abilities and weapons, she is incredibly dangerous against humans, Grimm, and certain Faunus enemies. Robots, understandably, have a major advantage against her.
** Appearance: Dettela wears her brown hair short, believing anything longer to be a hindrance. Her eyes (due to a set of contact lenses) are a slit-pupiled yellow (in reality, they are normal and standard green). She tends to favour simple, lightweight clothing, as she considers concern about one’s appearance to be beneath her. However, her clothing does usually feature a scale-like pattern, commonly added by Dettela herself as a personal reminder of her heritage, and of the myths she once was inspired by.
** Personality: A dour and cold girl, Dettela considers herself one of the smartest people in the room. Despite the bigotry against Faunus with Reptilian, insect, or spider traits, she takes pride in her Faunus heritage – Dettela’s half-joking threats to poison anyone who mocks her nature, along with her reputation for spiteful actions against those who anger her has served as a shield against much mockery. Partly due to her teeth being affected, she prefers soft foods, and tends to swallow things whole in place of chewing. Talking about her hometown is one of the few ways to make her lose her infamous cool, to the point where she begins to literally spit poison with each word.
** Motives: When she was assaulted in her hometown by a bigoted classmate, she involuntarily bit down on his hand. Due to the extremely toxic venom in her fangs, her attacker was hospitalised, suffering terrible damage to his kidneys and the nerves in his hand. The town soon made it clear she was no longer welcome there, leading to her decision to enrol as an Academy student with the intent of being accepted for what she is, and possibly being allowed to return home.
** Backstory: Dettela grew up in one of Atlas’ smaller towns, a town she refuses to speak of. Her nature as a Faunus became known when a classmate spotted her fangs as she smiled at him, resulting in her suffering from severe bullying through her childhood. Eventually, when she was cornered by a group of bullies, one wrenched open her mouth with the intent of “pulling the Freak’s fangs” out – something the bully later claimed to be a sick joke. Terrified and restrained, she involuntarily bit down on her bully’s hand; the resultant envenomation from her natural traits left his hand’s nerves severely damaged, and his kidneys half-wrecked. She was subsequently driven out of the town by a mix of bigots and well-intentioned citizens, without full knowledge of what had occurred. Her Academy enrolment swiftly followed, with Dettela swiftly joining CTDL.

*Lotus Ravenor by Clockwork_Heart
--> “Say Nevermore.”
** Kingdom Assocation: Atlas, Huntress Student.
** Species: Faunus, Bird-derived (Talons).
** Colour scheme: Dark blue, white, and black.
** Semblance: Shadow Shift – Lotus can control shadows as though they are physical and tangible, though she cannot control the shadows of ‘living’ beings, such as other humans. ‘Inert’ shadows, such as those of buildings or trees, can be more easily manipulated. Lotus can outright ‘consume’ shadows to increase her own strength, speed, and durability, at the cost of becoming much more unstable in mind and body.
** Weapon: Onslaught and Talon – A large gold-handled scythe (tall as Lotus herself, with a blade of equal length.) and an elbow-length clawed gauntlet. The scythe is primarily used to channel her Aura, massively increasing its cutting power and causing a sensation of excruciating pain whenever it strikes. Talon is used to direct her Semblance, though it can be used in a pinch to defend Lotus herself – the metal claws of the gauntlet fit over her talons, and her tendency to channel Aura and shadow alike into her weapons makes it quite the tool in close-quarters.
** Description: The LightningBruiser of CTDL, Lotus Ravenor moves fast and hits hard. Tallest of the group (barring Vledig, when in his weapon), her pallid skin and cadaverous appearance are specially cultivated by Lotus herself to unnerve others. Her fighting style usually involves moving fast enough to displace air before striking from an unexpected angle via Onslaught, dodging any blows with uncanny speed and skill. Talon’s channelling abilities are used to aid with this, binding enemies with solid shadows or outright impaling foes with spikes of solid darkness.
** Appearance: Jokingly referred to by some as ‘The grim reaper’s daughter’, she wears a cloak of raven feathers over a dark blue tunic and breeches. Her eyes are a light red. Ravenor usually keeps her black hair straight and mid-chest-length, often keeping the majority beneath her cloak. In part due to her own ministrations, Lotus’ skin is deathly pale. Her fingers resemble bird-like talons, often causing her to wear either gloves or gauntlets at all times to hide them. Perhaps appropriately, her cloak is crafted to resemble the wings of a raven as it hangs from her shoulders.
** Personality: A calm and solemn girl, Lotus prefers to let her actions speak for her. She often alternates between periods of semi-lethargic behaviour and bursts of frenzied activity, with a tendency to gain as much information as possible before acting. Despite her normal calm, Lotus occasionally taunts her opponents with a simple, understated comment – usually moments before the death-blow lands.
** Motives: Ravenor became a Huntress after the loss of her family to a White Fang attack, desiring to annihilate the White Fang to a member in vengeance – regardless of their innocence or guilt.
** Backstory: Lotus Ravenor grew up in the same village as Cinerus Vledig, though the two never met until after the attack. She was often bullied in childhood over her talon-like fingers, leading to her habit of wearing gloves regardless of time and place. After numerous taunts, she crafted her unnervingly pale and unnaturally calm appearance in hopes of being left alone – in her eyes, it was better to be isolated than noticed and taunted. When the village was attacked, she survived due to her Semblance awakening and briefly going out of control – shadows formed a protective area around her, becoming tangible and impaling anything that tried to come close to her. When she passed out from exhaustion, the Hunter team that rescued Vledig took her with them, leading her to the Academy.

*Keira Tremaine by Clockwork_Heart
--> “I have had it with these motherfucking Grimm in this motherfucking city!”
** Kingdom Association: Atlas, Huntress Student.
** Species: Human.
** Colour scheme: Red and brass.
** Semblance: Detonator – Keira can convert matter around her into energy, causing large explosions to occur. This Semblance, if not directly controlled, simply causes a constant explosion to form around Keira, with a small ‘safe zone’ at the centre.
** Weapon(s): Dreadnought and Bulwark. A massive greatsword and shield combination, Dreadnought possesses a reservoir of Fire Dust within the blade. Should a button on the hilt be pressed, the sword’s already massive cutting power becomes a deal more powerful, as the blade wreaths itself in fire. Bulwark is more mundane – beyond the massive durability of the shield, it has no known integrated weapons or special properties.
** Description: Keira acts as the ‘Berserker’ of CTDL – at all times, she is found in the thick of the fighting, clearing the way for her allies with large explosions and wide swings of Dreadnought. An expert melee fighter, she supplements her brutish physical strength with explosions from her Semblance. Unsurprisingly, she favours short-range combat.
** Appearance: Evoking the appearance of the mythical Berserkers, Keira wears a set of light armour, bearing her brass and red colours. Her shoulderblade-length red hair is usually flung back to resemble the mane of a beast, her similarly-coloured eyes ablaze with rage. A red cloak is draped over her shoulders, bearing the sigil of a sword piercing a Grimm skull on the back.
** Personality: A brash and ferocious girl, Keira seems near-perpetually enraged at everyone and everything. Her short temper and explosive nature often cause her to butt heads with the calmer Lotus Ravenor, though they are a mighty force when they act as one. Keira frequently yells insults, BadassBoasts, or war-cries at those she faces in combat, as much as a way of goading her foes as it is a way of keeping her head clear. Has displayed a more distinctively silly side on occasion; during one battle, Keira cut Grimm forces to tatters while singing a particular Heavy Metal song.
** Motives: Keira originally joined the Hunters as a way of dealing with her anger issues, following her actions during a Grimm attack. Now, she’s out for Grimm and White Fang blood, viewing both as needing to be eradicated.
** Backstory: Keira was born in a small settlement, growing up with her family in the lower-income parts of the town. She exhibited anger issues from an early age, culminating in an incident where the Grimm attacked the settlement – when a Beowulf entered her family’s house, Keira went berserk and literally tore it limb-from-limb, ignoring the severe mauling the beast gave her in the process. Though she survived the wounds it gave her, Keira feared what the berserk state might mean for her – a fear vindicated when she unlocked and accidentally her Semblance in a fit of anger, causing severe damage to the surroundings. Joining CTDL as a means of directing her rage, Keira has served with the team ever since.

Team CTDL (Citadel)

* Dettela Tanner by Clockwork_Heart
--> “No-one survives my bite. You will not be an exception.”
** Kingdom Association: Atlas, Huntress Student. Member of CTDL.
** Species: Snake (Inland Taipan) Faunus (Fangs, venom as a result).

*Lotus Ravenor by Clockwork_Heart
--> “Say Nevermore.”

* The Ifrit is a rare Grimm typically found in Vacuo. It is a giant, a few feet shorter than a Goliath. It has no legs and instead moves around by walking on its two hands, each of them huge and muscular. The most dangerous aspect of the Ifrit, however, is its ability to generate fire and heat in general. Over time, its body will increase in temperature, causing its skin to take on a bright red tone instead of the usual pitch black of the Grimm. After a while, it is even able to breath fire and throw fireballs. This power comes at a price: the hotter it is, the more pain it is in. It will constantly seek out any form of water, which is effective in cooling it off. In Vacuo, where desert wasteland rules the landscape, these water sources are typically small oases. Unfortunately, more often than not nomadic villages will already be occupying the oasis. It is often said that one can tell when an Ifrit has passed through a place by a trail of crushed abodes and smoldering corpses.

Miles 'The Ancient' Brennus by Clockwork_Heart

to:

* Species: Unknown - Human(?).

* Weapon: Unknown/Varies from tale to tale. However, is most commonly depicted as carrying an elaborately crafted staff in one hand and a book/scroll in the other.
* Description: Brennus is perhaps one of the most enigmatic figures in Remnant's history. Almost nothing (at least, nothing solid) is known about his weapon of choice, Semblance, or birthplace - the only thing that is known for certain is that he was born before the Great War, hence his atypical name. Few have ever met him, leading many to doubt he ever existed, though apocryphal tales claim he appears to those he takes an interest in. His name is frequently mentioned in tales, but the depictions of him vary - some tales cast him in the role of a manipulative, secretive mastermind, aiding or hindering others seemingly on a whim, others in the role of a noble hero or a force of righteousness, and others still cast him as a terrible monster, supposedly capable of acts so horrific they were expunged from the tales outright . In more recent years, tales have begun to spread of a figure closely resembling him, attacking areas of high Grimm concentration before vanishing once all Grimm were destroyed. None of these sightings, however, have been confirmed.

* Vantar Koganusân For the unaware, his first name is derived from 'Vantablack' by Clockwork_Heart
** Kingdom Association: None - formerly Atlas.
** Colour Scheme: Black, threaded with burning orange-red.
** Species: Unknown - thought to be Faunus.
** Semblance: Dynakinesis - grants him the power to redirect, store, and control energy of all forms. Absorbing energy causes his durability to increase, though he can sacrifice this durability by transmitting energy as a means of attack. However, he is bound by the laws of physics - he cannot generate energy, only manipulate existing energy. Additionally, the use of his semblance requires him to concentrate greatly, forcing him to move slowly.
** Weapon: Prefers use of Semblance for battle, but has been known to use his natural traits in battle.
** Description: More monster than anything else, Vantar's appearance is almost entirely dominated by his (presumed) Faunus characteristics. His body resembles some mutilated hybrid of a bear and a human, with leathery black skin covering his muscle-bound body. Both hands closely resemble mangled masses of rock - claws extend from the mangled growths in place of fingers, and his bulky arms bristle with similar spines and miniature crags of rock-like bone. His head bears a single red eye, the other sealed by a mass of scar tissue, and horns jut from his skull almost randomly. Usually wears a hooded black greatcoat, veined with orange-red lines down its length.
** Personality: Vantar displays extreme contempt and often outright hatred toward humans, in part due to him being ostracised and frequently attacked over his monstrous appearance. He is extremely aggressive, requiring very little provocation to goad him into unleashing lethal force, and often goes out of his way to spite an enemy, even when this will see him injured or otherwise disadvantaged. He is borderline addicted to the rush of adrenaline he gains from battle, which often drives him to fight without concern for his own safety. Prefers to operate alone, even under extremely dangerous conditions - whether this is out of paranoia or what remains of his humanity remains questionable. Extremely disdainful toward authority - loyal solely to himself and his goals, he cares nothing for rules or laws that stand in his way.
** Motives: In a word: Revenge. Vantar wants humanity to pay for the abuse and ostracization he suffered in his early years, with a particular desire to see the SDC destroyed for their actions against his kind. At the same time, he wants the White Fang destroyed, viewing them as no more than a second SDC in the making - no better than the monsters they seek to destroy.

Blazefire Shroud by [=ErikModi=]
* A gunblade (Blazefire) and shield (Shroud) combination. Blazefire collapses for storage into a block about a foot long, two inches wide by four inches high. Shroud collapses into a carrying case/sheath for Blazefire, which can be attached on either hip or the small of the back. Blazefire expands a bit to enter gun mode, where it performs as a semi-auto carbine, able to be loaded with any standard small-caliber Dust rounds. It can expand out to a full-sized one-handed longsword as well. Shroud has a notch on the top meant to fit Blazefire’s carbine mode, allowing the shield to be kept in a defensive posture while bracing the gun to fire at targets.

** Description: The legacy of 2 badass parents that went to school with team STRQ and a sister who graduated a year early to become Beacon’s youngest teacher has not weighed down on Violet at all. Her happy-go-lucky attitude combined with the creative way she uses her weapon and semblance made her the team’s glue. When her guitar/axe was smashed and her back was broken during the fall of Beacon, her father in Atlas had her brought back so she could heal. Without her, what remained of team STVR fell apart. Violet became more cynical, and, even with a spine implant that helps her to walk and a rebuilt and upgraded weapon she doubts herself, and the fact that her former leader/crush turned out to be evil certainly didn’t help. Violet has (sorta) moved on and she and Talia have a will-they-won’t-they thing going on.

○ Description: The younger sister of Cinder Fall who was raised by Salem after Cinder was recruited. Salem was actually a decent parent who “taught” Storm about how her worldview was the right one. She learned to fight as well as her sister and became even more powerful than her. She’s been going on deep undercover operations for Salem under the name “Silver”. Storm was the final person recruited by Cinder to take down Amber. Once that was done she enrolled at Beacon Academy and became team leader, with no one knowing who she really was. She used her position to gather information on Beacon and its teachers. She revealed her treachery at the fall of Beacon, which crushed her teammates, and has worked as Cinder’s second-in-command ever since. That said, she does seem to harbor at least a shred of sympathy for her former team.

○ Description: After her parents (both faunus) were killed by racist humans she was
taken in by the Belladonna family alongside Blake. She also worked with the White Fang until Sienna Khan took over, at which point she left with Blake’s parents. Still unsettled by the injustice and inequality she saw Talia decided to become a huntress, and went to Beacon with her adoptive sister. After the fall of Beacon she followed Blake back to Menagerie with Sun. After reuniting with her team at Haven, she lead them against Storm. She and Violet have a will-they-won’t-they thing going on.
● Violet Star
○ Species: Human
○ Semblance: Sound control-can shoot blasts of sound (more powerful through her weapon), has super hearing, and can modify any sound (for example: making a clap sound like a dog bark).
○ Weapon: Shredder-a guitar that turns into an axe. Broken and later upgraded with rocket launcher and hover-board forms.
○ Description: The legacy of 2 badass parents that went to school with team STRQ and a sister who graduated a year early to become Beacon’s youngest teacher has not weighed down on Violet at all. Her happy-go-lucky attitude combined with the creative way she uses her weapon and semblance made her the team’s glue.
Triton

When her guitar/axe was smashed and her back was broken during the fall of Beacon, her father in Atlas had her brought back so she could heal. Without her, what remained of team STVR fell apart. Violet became more cynical, and, even with a spine implant that helps her to walk and a rebuilt and upgraded weapon she doubts herself, and the fact that her former leader/crush turned out to be evil certainly didn’t help. Violet has (sorta) moved on and she and Talia have a will-they-won’t-they thing going on.
● Rene Gonzales
○ Species: Human
○ Semblance: Foresight-He will occasionally have prophetic dreams about big upcoming events. Despite the heavy symbolism he can interpret them fairly easily. However, given how often prophecies are self-fulfilling, he only ever divulges information if he believes it to be absolutely necessary.
○ Weapon: Mutatio-appears to simply be a flashlight but can actually turn into any weapon Rene can imagine as long as it’s not too big and it usually can’t have any other magical properties. He mostly uses it as a whip, sword, hammer, and sniper rifle.
○ Description: Growing up in a small village in Vacuo, Rene’s prediction of a Grimm attack made the people panic and his prediction came to pass because he told people about it. After his village was wiped out and most of the people were killed he moved to Vale and enrolled at Beacon to atone for his past. Being a part of this team has caused him to lighten up a bit, although he still plays the role of the stoic straight-man among his team. Storm’s betrayal undid most of his lightening up until his team came back together.

Fig Newman by MrBishop
* Kingdom association: Vale
* Color Scheme: Purple and Gold
* Species: Human
* Semblance: Gravity Manipulation. Fig is able to strengthen or weaken gravity in a selected range. The larger the range or the greater the manipulation, the more energy it takes to sustain.
* Weapon: Harsh Mistress, a sword that can change into one of three forms for easier use within altered gravity: a normal longsword, a lighter rapier, and a heavier, thicker, club-like zweihander.
* Description: Slender and tall, serious but kind, Fig is a recent full-fledged Huntsman, having graduated the year before the Fall of Beacon. He possesses short brown hair, soft green eyes, and pale skin, but he is most often recognized by his long purple coat with a gold trim. He is an above average fighter, but he tends to rely heavily on his semblance in combat. Although the rest of his team have traveled all across Remnant, Fig chose to remain and work in Vale. Nothing else matched the comfort of familiarity, as well as the knowledge that he was protecting the land he grew up in. After the Fall of Beacon, Fig decided to dedicate his time to work with his former professors in clearing out the Grimm, and restore Beacon to its former glory.

* Willow Wilde
** Species: Bear Faunus (Claws)
** Semblance: Berserk. Willow can significantly increase her strength and speed. However, it rapidly depletes her Aura, leaving her vulnerable after about twenty seconds.
** Weapon: Chaotic Bliss and Orderly Sorrow, twin curved machetes that can join at their hilts to form a doublesword. Separately, they can also change into long-barreled revolvers.
** Description: Willow was born into a wealthy Atlesian family, but her mother harbors a secret: Willow was the result of an affair between her and a Faunus who worked in a nearby Dust mine. Not only did Willow inherit the man’s aggressive and wild temperament, she also possesses a pair of bear claws, although they are usually mistaken for long fingernails. Willow’s mother, realizing that Atlas would not be a good fit for someone like her (in terms of personality AND species), decided to send her to Vale to become a huntress in order to prevent her husband from discovering her infidelity, as well as hoping that Beacon could “straighten her out a bit”. Willow is a fierce fighter, but tends to sacrifice all pretenses of defense for a purely offensive combat style. During her time at Beacon, she was partnered with Leaf Rickson, and after graduating, travels with him across Remnant.

* Leaf Rickson
** Species: Human
** Semblance: Marker. Leaf can place a single mark that only he can see on anyone or anything. He has a vague sense of where it is at all times.
** Weapon: Rode Akse, a greataxe that can collapse into a large, round shield, which can also be used effectively in combat. It was passed down to Leaf by his father, Erin.
** Description: Leaf is the son of a minor legend: a huntsman known as Crimson Erin, who was known across Sanus for protecting travel routes between Vale and Vacuo. One day, Erin disappeared, leaving behind only his wife, son, and weapon. Leaf decided to attend Beacon and become a huntsman, not only to protect people as his father did, but to fulfill his own dream: traveling the world. After graduating, he and his team leader, Willow Wilde, began traveling Remnant, helping others whenever they can. Leaf himself is a calm and caring person, and tends to adopt a defensive style in combat. Because of these traits, he is often considered complementary to Willow’s abrasive personality.

* Dairine Spark
** Species: Human
** Semblance: Warmth. Dairine can generate heat from her body. At its peak, she can start fires with a touch of her finger.
** Weapon: Matchstick, a spear with a tip that can be enhanced with dust for a variety of effects. It can also spray powdered dust in the manner of a flamethrower.
** Description: In her early years, Dairine lived in a small village several miles north of Vale, and lived a peaceful life as the daughter of a hunter. However, during one particularly strong winter, her village suffered a Grimm attack, and she was the only survivor. Only ten years old at the time, she survived the snowstorms through the discovery of her semblance, and was able to scrounge up enough food and water to survive, thanks to her father’s teachings. Miraculously, she reached Vale, and was adopted and raised by another family. However, it didn’t take Dairine long to decide what she wanted to do with her life: become a huntress. She wanted to be the person she needed when her village fell, and help as many people as she could. She enrolled at Signal, and, eventually, enrolled at Beacon, where she became a part of Team WLDF, and, after graduation, travels together with her teammates Willow and Leaf. Personality-wise, Dairine is quite shy, and can barely stand crowded places. She much prefers the great outdoors, where she can show her extensive knowledge of the wild.

* Fig Newman
** Species: Human
** Semblance: Gravity Manipulation. Fig is able to strengthen or weaken gravity in a selected range. The larger the range or the greater the manipulation, the more energy it takes to sustain.
** Weapon: Harsh Mistress, a sword that can change into one of three forms for easier use within altered gravity: a normal longsword, a lighter rapier, and a heavier, thicker, club-like zweihander.
** Description: Fig is the son of a well-to-do family in Vale, and for much of his early life, he lived in comfort, not having to worry about much. Because his parents were usually busy working, Fig was often looked after by his neighbor, a retired huntsman. He often told Fig stories of his youth, of his days fighting Grimm and protecting Vale. He was the person Fig was closest to after his own parents, and eventually, Fig was inspired to become a huntsman as well. Although his parents tried to discourage him from this, Fig was dead set on it. Against their wishes, he enrolled at Signal, and became strong enough to enroll at Beacon, where he became part of Team WLDF. After graduation, he was the sole member to remain in Vale, as he preferred the comfort of familiarity, as well as the knowledge that he was protecting his home. After the Fall of Beacon, he decided to dedicate his time to helping his former professors drive out the Grimm and restore Beacon to its former glory. Fig himself is quite tall and quiet, a combination that makes him seem intimidating, although he is usually friendly. However, he does get stressed very quickly and easily, which usually leads to him lashing out with his semblance.

Miles 'Ghost' 'The Ancient' Brennus by Clockwork_Heart

* Weapon: Unknown/Varies from tale to tale. However, is most commonly depicted as carrying an elaborately crafted staff in one hand and a book in the other.
* Description: Brennus is perhaps one of the most enigmatic figures in Remnant's history. Almost nothing (at least, nothing solid) is known about his weapon of choice, Semblance, or birthplace.

Inferno & Sunfury by Clockwork_Heart
* A pair of ranged weapons, infamous for their devastating power. Both were crafted by a brilliant inventor during the Great War, for the purpose of destroying the increasingly powerful Grimm that attacked her home settlement. Eventually this inventor would die, allegedly struck down by an assassin sent to kill her for refusing to choose a side in the War. However, her workshop was found empty of its expected mechanical wonders - the creations scattered across Remnant, hidden from the eyes of others. These two weapons were eventually re-discovered by an Atlesian Huntsman, and are currently in transit back to research labs in an effort to reverse-engineer these devices. Both weapons fully enclose the arms of the wielder.
** Inferno resembles a large, bulky cannon, narrowing down to a long barrel. The cannon utilises a crystallised form of Dust that, through the weapon's unique technology, can be consumed to fire a massive beam of white-blue energy toward its target. This beam has tremendous destructive power, being capable of obliterating even the most heavily armoured Grimm with a single shot and annihilating tanks from the heat of the beam. However, Inferno suffers from extremely severe recoil due to the nature of the Dust - a weakness only exacerbated by the need to allow the weapon to "Cool off" between firings; failing to do so risks damage to Inferno itself, and may even cause the weapon to backfire, inflicting horrific burns on the wielder.
** Sunfury is a far more unusual weapon in appearance when compared to Inferno - it resembles a long cylinder, of roughly equal length to its sister weapon, ending in a flaring cone-like shape that ends in a flat circle. Bright blue-white light shines out from a rectangular section that runs the weapon's length, which seems to function as the containment chamber for the Dust that powers this device. Sunfury can fire massive blasts of an unknown form of super-heated matter at targets, inflicting massive burns and usually outright vaporising the target. Similar to Inferno, Sunfury requires time to cool off between blasts. Notably, both weapons are rumoured to have a third sibling that pairs with them both; a weapon designed to preserve these two device's strengths while downplaying their weaknesses.
