** He also berates Goku for his naive nature, exclaiming it's dangerous to all existence. Remember that Goku spared ''Frieza'', who tried to destroy Earth twice (and succeeds in the latter case; only Whis' TimeMaster abilities averted it), his [[BloodKnight fight-happy nature]] led to Zamasu's StartOfDarkness and ravaging of the future multiverse, etc.
** At the end of the Future Trunks Saga he coldly tells Gowasu to choose his apprentices more carefully. Considering Gowasu proved to be a HorribleJudgeOfCharacter in regards to [[MisanthropeSupreme Zamasu]], failed to notice his growing darkness until it was (nearly) too late and also [[UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom told him about the Time Rings and Super Dragon Balls]], both of which proved crucial to Zamasu's plans he's not wrong. Though in defense of Gowasu we actually get to see Zamasu before becoming a Supreme Kai and [[UsedToBeASweetKid he was actually kind and humble back then]].

* [[BountyHunter Granolah]], SoleSurvivor of the [[{{Steampunk}} Cerealians]] desires the death of Frieza and complete extermination of the Saiyans for wiping out his race. However, much like the Tuffles' creations he only gets his chance after the Saiyans were already rendered nearly extinct and he even ignores the possibility of the Saiyans actually suffering under Frieza's rule.

* Chronoa's [[APupilOfMineUntilHeTurnedToEvil former pupil]] [[DreadlockWarrior Sealas]] seeks to [[SetRightWhatOnceWentWrong undo all the tragedies of history]] despite the Kais' particular AlienNonInterferenceClause.

** When [[MixAndMatchMan Cell]] announces the Cell Games, Piccolo wants to train first in the [[YearInsideHourOutside Hyperbolic Time Chamber]] after Goku and Gohan leave. Vegeta calls this a waste since the fight with Cell will be beyond anything outside the Saiyans but mockingly allows Piccolo to go first. Although Vegeta was a {{Jerkass}} about it as usual he was right that only a Saiyan could beat Cell in the amount of time they had and Piccolo's year-long training didn't amount to nearly as much as the gain received by Goku/Gohan/Vegeta. For a long time no non-Saiyan Z-Fighter approached Cell's level of power let alone surpassed it -- and even then Saiyans still have the overall highest potential to get stronger. And it wouldn't be until many years later that a non-Saiyan fighter, ironically Piccolo this time would finally get back up to Vegeta and Goku's level in ''Anime/DragonBallSuperSuperHero''.

** He's also right about [[TheGodsMustBeLazy the gods' inaction against mortals who abuse their gifts]] as it's specifically stated a lot of the lower-ranked universes are that way because the gods didn't intervene when they should have. [[TheDitherer Sidra's indecision]] is a major factor in Universe 9 being the biggest CrapsackWorld of TheMultiverse and [[CatsAreMean Beerus]] let people like Frieza and his clan do what they wanted, even encouraging the massacre of the Saiyans. The manga [[LampshadeHanging notes]] that Beerus ''really should'' have dealt with Buu before he killed all but one of Universe 7's Kais (making the SoleSurvivor have to deal with the entire place despite being IncompletelyTrained), but he [[SleptThroughTheApocalypse took a nap through the whole shebang]].
* Much like before Vegeta has quite a few moments of this.

Also, if Cell's version of the older Trunks' machine hadn't been in Bulma's stash there would have been no way to go to the future to save it again in the first place. His reasoning was mostly because [[PapaWolf he wanted to destroy Goku Black for hurting Future Trunks]] and [[AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther killing Future Bulma]] but he gets even angrier after these events vindicate him.
** When Future Trunks, having seen the strength of SSJB is prepared to just kick back Vegeta [[NeckLift pulls him up by the collar]] and furiously lays into him for his [[WeHaveBecomeComplacent complacency]], remarking Black likely won't be the only threat that comes his way and he should ''always'' train to surpass his limits no matter the situation; considering how often threats to Earth have appeared (Majin Buu, Beerus, Frieza, etc.) and all of the Z-Fighters barring Goku and Vegeta himself have been helpless against them due to no proper training he's clearly [[TaughtByExperience speaking from experience]]. While [[MamaBear Bulma]] calls Vegeta out on his harshness considering Trunks' recent TraumaCongaLine, Goku insists it's "[[BlueAndOrangeMorality how Saiyans work]]"; Trunks himself quickly takes Vegeta's words to heart, resolving to constantly train and grow stronger.
** He also ''heavily'' objects to reviving Frieza to participate in the [[AbsurdlyHighStakesGame Tournament of Power]] on the grounds that he's uncontrollable and can't be trusted. He's proven right by [[TokenEvilTeammate Frieza]]'s internal monologue to replace Zeno, though ironically enough he ends up being key to the victory of their team and doesn't actually betray them.
** Come ''Anime/DragonBallSuperBroly'', Goku naively believes since Frieza helped them during the Tournament of Power this means he'll no longer be evil and is now their friend. Vegeta openly calls him an idiot, telling Goku point-blank that Frieza will ''never'' change and still try to kill them; he's proven right when Frieza comes back to Earth and has [[RevengeBeforeReason Paragus]] sic [[TheJuggernaut Broly]] on them.
* [[TheDreaded Universe 7's God of Destruction]] [[HairTriggerTemper Beerus]] is ''really'' against Goku's idea of a multiversal tournament because it involves [[TopGod Zeno]]; he even threatens to ''vaporize'' him. However, knowing that Zeno is even more casual and apathetic to life than Beerus, destroyed six universes in the past just because something annoyed him and the losers of upcoming tournament will have ''their entire universes'' destroyed it's hard to disagree.

* When Goku fights [[SavageWolves Bergamo]] during the preliminary tournament the latter manipulates the gods into making the former a villain, trying to [[ProfessionalButtKisser get Zeno's favor]] by having the universes be spared if he beats Goku. Right after being defeated Bergamo calls him out on whether or not he cares for the state of the universes considering they are going to be erased when they lose. While Bergamo is underhanded and said it in the middle of a SoreLoser speech he's got a good point about Goku, especially considering the latter is completely nonchalant about it, even [[NotHelpingYourCase challenging the other gods to come at him]].
* After being knocked out of the arena [[WorldsStrongestMan Jiren]] proceeds to insult [[ForGreatJustice Toppo]] for it, even calling him pathetic. While it comes across as [[KickTheDog assholish]] to insult his leader being eliminated he has every right to berate him given that Toppo was fully willing to sacrifice his principles just for the sake of more power and still lost, specifically to someone who didn't sacrifice any, in fact staying true to them to the point [[VillainRespect Jiren gave a sincere compliment]].
* In ''Super: Broly'', [[AdaptationalNiceGuy King Vegeta]] banishes [[TitleCharacter Broly]] to [[DeathWorld Planet Vampa]] after seeing how [[ReadingsAreOffTheScale freakishly powerful]] he is as a child. While [[CoolOldGuy Paragus]] calls him out on this and believes the King only did so out of [[GreenEyedMonster jealousy his son's power could surpass the Prince]], King Vegeta's stated reason is that Broly's potential could [[WithGreatPowerComesGreatInsanity drive him mad]] [[FromBadToWorse and make him a threat both to himself and everyone around him]]. Paragus himself seems to realize the King may have been right once Broly's battle on Earth turns him into a [[UnstoppableRage rage-fueled]] [[TheBerserker berserker]] and [[ApocalypseHow possible universal threat]].

* Despite his [[KnightInSourArmor harsh exterior]], [[GoodIsNotNice Vegeta]] has made explanations and rationalized his own actions to the point of it being a RunningGag, especially regarding fights; this contrasts him with the [[EasilyForgiven more lenient style]] of [[AllLovingHero Goku]].

* During his fight with the thuggish [[OurDragonsAreDifferent Giran]], Goku saves himself from a RingOut by calling for his [[FlyingOnACloud Flying Nimbus]]. When Giran calls foul, the referee acknowledges he has legitimate reason to protest and talks to some higher-ups offscreen. He comes back and says that while Goku's still allowed to compete since his move wasn't illegal ''at the time'', [[ObviousRulePatch there's now a rule against it]] so he'll be disqualified if he tries it again.

** His killing Guldo, Burter and Recoome of the [[QuirkyMinibossSquad Ginyu Force]] [[KickThemWhileTheyAreDown after their defeats]]. [[IdiotHero Goku]] states Vegeta was being cruel but he retorts [[AssholeVictim it was deserved]], especially since [[ParentalNeglect Gohan]] and [[ButtMonkey Krillin]] were on the verge of death and [[PayEvilUntoEvil they had killed countless people under Frieza's orders]]. While Goku states having a little compassion isn't a disadvantage, sparing any members of the Ginyu Force would have caused far more harm than good. This is further emphasized later on when Goku [[TheFarmerAndTheViper unhesitatingly spares]] their even more {{sadist}}ic leader [[TheSociopath Frieza]]'s life at least twice -- [[DontYouDarePityMe which only prompts him]] [[UngratefulBastard to betray Goku both times]].

** Vegeta gets another one after beating Android 19 so thoroughly that 19 flips out and tries to make a break for it, to which Dr. Gero/Android 20 shouts at him that it's enough. As Vegeta rightfully points out in response, Gero and 19 had come all that way to destroy [[TheTeam the Z-Fighters]] and [[MoralMyopia it's only "enough" because they're losing]].

** Although Vegeta was harsh with Gohan about getting weaker and how his fight with [[MaouTheDemonKing Dabura]] was lackluster he made a good point: Gohan was struggling against a foe that, seven years ago he wouldn't have had such a problem with, and it was in their interests to beat such enemies as quickly and efficiently as possible. In fact, Vegeta's arrogance notwithstanding it's highly probable he could have defeated Dabura with relative ease had he been the one to fight instead.
** When Vegeta learns about Goku's [[AwesomeButImpractical Super Saiyan 3]] transformation, he immediately blows up at him for not using it in their earlier fight. Though it's clear Vegeta's really just angry Goku was holding back, he makes a pretty good point that Goku could have ended it at any time and simply chose not to (something that directly led to [[EldritchAbomination Majin Buu]]'s release). Goku's only defense is that he wanted to save it for an emergency, which Vegeta calls out as unconvincing at best.
** Vegeta gets another one [[WhatTheHellHero when he calls out Goku for leaving his children to die]] [[EarthShatteringKaboom while Kid Buu blows up Earth]] [[YouHaveGotToBeKiddingMe and choosing to rescue Mr. Satan, Bee and Dende instead]]. During the entire exchange, Goku has ''nothing'' to say in his own defense. Of course, Dende, Mr. Satan and Bee proved instrumental to Buu's defeat but no one could have known at the time.

[[RevengeBeforeReason Hatchiyack still carried out Lychee's plan anyway]] and Lychee's claims [[AllTakeAndNoGive the Tuffles were taken advantage of]] [[UnreliableNarrator might not be entirely true]].

* Like Hatchiyack and Lychee, [[PuppeteerParasite Baby]] also wants revenge on the Saiyans for exterminating the Tuffles. When confronted about his grudge and told the Saiyans eventually [[LaserGuidedKarma paid the price for their actions]], he outright states [[RevengeMyopia he no longer cares]].

* While [[FallenAngel Zamasu]] is a KnightTemplar with [[FinalSolution murderous ambitions]], his [[HumansAreBastards view regarding mortals]] is not entirely unfounded. [[GalacticConquerer Frieza's family]], [[BitchInSheepsClothing Frost]] and the [[BloodKnight Saiyans]] were planet brokers who [[WarForFunAndProfit committed war crimes to make money and for shits and giggles]]; [[GeneralRipper Commander Red]] had the [[ArmiesAreEvil Red Ribbon Army]] seek out the [[MakeAWish Dragon Balls]] [[TheNapoleon just to gain extra height]]; [[MadScientist Dr. Gero]] used his great mind to produce [[KillerRobot deadly androids]], two of whom literally ''[[ImAHumanitarian ate living beings]]''; and [[EvilSorcerer Bibidi and Babidi]] unleashed [[EldritchAbomination Majin Buu]] on Universe 7, causing the deaths of nearly all the resident [[GodIsGood Kais]] and billions of innocents. Zamasu's FatalFlaw however, is his [[BlackAndWhiteInsanity inability to see that not all mortals are]] [[AlwaysChaoticEvil evil by nature]].
** His assessment of the Universe 10 Barbarians proves sound; his master [[IdiotBall Gowasu]] [[AdviceBackfire brought him there to demonstrate that mortals weren't inherently evil and capable of maturation, yet even after a thousand years there was no moral growth to observe in the species]].
** He's also right about [[TheGodsMustBeLazy the gods' inaction against mortals who abuse their gifts of knowledge]] as it's specifically stated that a lot of the lower-ranked universes are that way because the gods didn't intervene when they should have. [[TheDitherer Sidra's indecision]] is a major factor in Universe 9 being the biggest CrapsackWorld of TheMultiverse and [[CatsAreMean Beerus]] let people like Frieza and his clan do what they wanted, even encouraging the massacre of the Saiyans. The manga notes that Beerus ''really should'' have dealt with Buu before he killed all but one of Universe 7's Kais (making the SoleSurvivor have to deal with the entire place despite being IncompletelyTrained), but he [[SleptThroughTheApocalypse slept through the whole shebang]].
* Much like in the previous series, Vegeta has quite a few moments of this.
** During the arc of ''Super'' corresponding to ''Anime/DragonBallZResurrectionF'', Goku tells Vegeta how murdering [[GrandTheftMe Captain Ginyu]] was too extreme. Vegeta tells him he simply killed someone too dangerous to leave alone. Considering that Ginyu is a [[HiredGuns mercenary]] who had proven he ''wouldn't'' leave the heroes be if given a chance, he's got a point there.
** Vegeta becomes angry when Goku plays around with [[EvilTwin Goku Black]] instead of instantly killing him when he has the chance. This allows Black to study Goku's fighting style and destroy Future Trunks' TimeMachine, giving him the chance to become more powerful to the point he could challenge Goku and Vegeta in their [[PhysicalGod Super Saiyan Blue forms]]. Also, if Cell's version of the older Trunks' machine hadn't been in Bulma's stash there would have been no way to go to the future to save it again in the first place. His reasoning was mostly because [[PapaWolf he wanted to destroy Goku Black for hurting Future Trunks]] and [[AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther killing Future Bulma]], but he gets even angrier about it after these events vindicate him.
** When Future Trunks, having seen the strength of SSJB is prepared to just kick back and let Goku and Vegeta handle it, Vegeta [[NeckLift pulls him up by the collar]] and furiously lays into him for his [[WeHaveBecomeComplacent complacency]], remarking Black likely won't be the only threat that comes his way and he should ''always'' train to surpass his limits no matter the situation; considering how often threats to Earth have come (Majin Buu, Beerus, Frieza, etc.) and all of the Z-Fighters barring Goku and Vegeta himself have been helpless against them due to no proper training he's clearly [[TaughtByExperience speaking from experience]]. While [[MamaBear Bulma]] calls Vegeta out on his harshness considering Trunks' recent TraumaCongaLine, Goku insists it's "[[BlueAndOrangeMorality how Saiyans work]]"; Trunks himself quickly takes Vegeta's words to heart, resolving to constantly train and grow stronger.
** He also ''strongly'' objects to reviving Frieza to participate in the [[AbsurdlyHighStakesGame Tournament of Power]] on the grounds that he's uncontrollable and can't be trusted. He's proven right by [[TokenEvilTeammate Frieza]]'s internal monologue to become a being to replace Zeno, though ironically enough he ends up being key to the victory of their team and doesn't actually betray them.
** Come ''Anime/DragonBallSuperBroly'', Goku naively believes that since Frieza helped them during the Tournament of Power this means he'll no longer be evil and is now their friend. Vegeta openly calls him an idiot, telling Goku point-blank that Frieza will ''never'' change and still try to kill them; he's proven right when Frieza comes back to Earth and has [[RevengeBeforeReason Paragus]] sic [[TheJuggernaut Broly]] on them.

** At the end of the Future Trunks Saga, he coldly tells Gowasu to choose his apprentices more carefully. Considering the fact that Gowasu proved to be a HorribleJudgeOfCharacter in regards to [[MisanthropeSupreme Zamasu]] and failed to notice his growing darkness until it was (nearly) too late and also [[UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom told him about the Time Rings and Super Dragon Balls]], both of which proved crucial to Zamasu's plans he's not wrong. Though in defense of Gowasu we actually get to see Zamasu before becoming a Supreme Kai and [[UsedToBeASweetKid he was actually kind and humble back then]].
* When Goku fights [[SavageWolves Bergamo]] during the preliminary tournament, the latter manipulates the gods into making Goku the villain and tries to [[ProfessionalButtKisser get Zeno's favor]] by having the universes be spared if he beats the former. Right after being defeated, Bergamo calls Goku out on whether or not he cares for the state of the universes considering they are going to be erased when they lose. While Bergamo is underhanded and said it in the middle of a SoreLoser speech he's got a good point about Goku, especially considering the latter is completely nonchalant about it, even challenging the other gods to come at him.
* After being knocked out of the arena, [[WorldsStrongestMan Jiren]] proceeds to insult [[ForGreatJustice Toppo]] for it, even calling him pathetic. While it comes across as [[KickTheDog assholish]] to insult his leader being eliminated he has every right to berate him given that Toppo was fully willing to sacrifice his principles just for the sake of more power and still lost, specifically to someone who didn't sacrifice any, in fact staying true to them to the point [[VillainRespect Jiren gave a sincere compliment]].
* In ''Super: Broly'', [[AdaptationalNiceGuy King Vegeta]] banishes [[TitleCharacter Broly]] to [[DeathWorld Planet Vampa]] after seeing how [[ReadingsAreOffTheScale freakishly powerful]] he is as a child. While [[CoolOldGuy Paragus]] calls him out on this and believes the King only did so out of [[GreenEyedMonster jealousy his son's power could surpass the prince]], King Vegeta's stated reason is that Broly's potential could [[WithGreatPowerComesGreatInsanity drive him mad]] and [[FromBadToWorse make him a threat both to himself and everyone around him]]. Paragus himself seems to realize the King may have been right once Broly's battle on Earth turns him into a [[UnstoppableRage rage-fueled]] [[TheBerserker Berserker]] and [[ApocalypseHow possible universal threat]].
* [[BountyHunter Granolah]], SoleSurvivor of the [[SteamPunk Cerealians]] desires the death of Frieza and complete extermination of the Saiyans for wiping out his race. However, much like the Tuffles' creations he only gets his chance after the Saiyans were already rendered nearly extinct, and he even ignores the possibility of the Saiyans actually suffering under Frieza's rule.

While Goku states having a little compassion isn't a disadvantage, sparing any members of the Ginyu Force would have caused far more harm than good. This is further emphasized later on when Goku [[TheFarmerAndTheViper unhesitatingly spares]] their even more {{sadist}}ic leader [[TheSociopath Frieza]]'s life at least twice -- [[DontYouDarePityMe which only prompts Frieza]] [[UngratefulBastard to try and betray Goku both times]].
** After saving the [[WorfHadTheFlu heart virus-stricken Goku]] from being killed by Android 19, Vegeta proceeds to chew him out for it, reminding Goku that he was ''warned'' about the disease and should have known fighting in his condition, let alone going [[SuperMode Super Saiyan]] would have only made it worse.

Remember that Goku spared Frieza, who tried to destroy Earth twice (and succeeds in the latter case; only Whis' TimeMaster abilities averted it), his [[BloodKnight fight-happy nature]] led to Zamasu's StartOfDarkness and ravaging of the future multiverse, etc.

* [[ControlFreak Aeos]], [[HerosEvilPredecessor previous Supreme Kai of Time]] before [[TheDitz Chronoa]] plans on [[RetGone erasing all versions of history but the official one]]. Given every [[TimeyWimeyBall time-related disaster]] that's occurred before, she's not too far off.
