Best friends who hug each other like long-lost lovers in Rossi's first episode, their LikeAnOldMarriedCouple bantering (particularly in "The Performer"), the scene in "Identity" where they tag-team profiled a Dominant/submissive relationship in the first person, the way they've become each other's checks and balances (Hotch delivering a verbal smackdown to Rossi in "About Face" and pep talks in "Limelight" and "Zoe's Reprise", Rossi returning the favor in "Omnivore", "Nameless, Faceless", and "The Slave of Duty"), the scene from "The Crossing" where Hotch decides they're both crap at marriage and might as well give up on it, and the way even the rest of the team calls them "Mom and Dad" (again in "The Crossing"). They also coach Hotch's son's soccer team together at the end of "Out of the Light."
