* Barry saving the couple in the cold opening, being the hero we all know he is. When all hope seems lost, he manages to save EVERYONE.
** The man thanking him for saving their lives. It's the first time an ordinary citizen has thanked the Flash since his existence was made public. He even calls Flash by his preferred super name.

** A meta example: Some fans thought he was completely different, but after watching the episode, it seems that [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold he's not that much different from his regular self after all, just a bit more arrogant]].

* On a meta-level, the fact that Danny Trejo took this role because [[JustForFun/OneOfUs he's a fan of the show]]. As noted on the Awesome page, the writers didn't think they had any chance of actually getting him, yet he was eager to take the part.

* After everything is dealt with, Barry successfully makes it on time to the hospital to be there when Nora is born.

* During the flashbacks to Barry in the hospital after being hit by lightning, Barry starts seizing and Joe's immediate reaction is to yell "My son needs help!"

* Both Candice Patton and Grant Gustin have defended minorities and the LGBTQ+ community. Candice Patton clapped back at a homophobic fan who was upset that several superheroes in the Arrowverse have been portrayed as LGBTQ+. Grant Gustin has defended Candice against racist commenters and has stated that he will always have her back.
* Jessica Parker Kennedy, with a LOT of Fans Agreeing, has stated in public, while not shading Ezra Miller, her belief that Grant Gustin should get his own Flash Movie. It really is sweet that she's standing up for her friend/television daddy.

* In the Reverse-Flashpoint universe, Iris is apparently close friends with Ryan Wilder. The RealitySubtext makes it sweeter; Candice Patton was one of the people who reached out to Javicia Leslie when the latter was being bombarded by harassment on her own show.
* When Barry finally returns to his proper reality, he immediately speed-hugs Iris.

* Cisco always felt second-best to Hartley because he was the favorite, or the "Chosen One." Wells tells Cisco that his genius wasn't the only reason he was hired; it was his humanity, his heart, and his humor that made STAR Labs a better place to work at, while Hartley's arrogance made it a chore for everyone else. Whether or not he's being sincere is another question.

** Patty being completely cool with it when she realizes that Barry can't actually see her and has been trying to cover it up.

** While completely powerless Barry wants to talk to Blackout and reason with him, sympathizing with his situation. It shows Barry has alot of compassion even for his enemies.

* Ralph's JacobMarleySpeech to Joe. Not only does it show his character development, but he clearly doesn't want Joe to become the man he became, to suffer the way he did.
