** The facial expression and sigh Willow makes as Bomb explains his dirt-eating habits is also absolutely ''adorable'', even if it's unlikely that the speed-dating actually amounted to anything for anyone, you can tell she's head over heels with Bomb, or at least that aspect of him.

** When Zeta starts sending the lava-filled ice balls at the islands, Red is just as angry about Piggy Island being fired upon. While they had the truce out of necessity to start with, its clear by this point that the birds and pigs’ previous conflict has become a complete non-issue, even to Red.
-->'''Red:''' Those islands are filled with innocent birds ''and pigs!''

* When the film's EnemyMine premise was revealed, fans were quick to speculate and just about everyone agreed that it was a ForegoneConclusion for the pigs to double cross the birds [[StatusQuoIsGod once they no longer needed a truce]]. In a pleasant surprise, this does not happen and the truce is entirely genuine, with the pigs and birds even [[NothingIsTheSameAnymore putting aside their conflict permanently in the film's ending]].

** While it may have been out of necessity at first, there is little to no tension among the main group despite their previous war only a day before, and they ultimately make an effective team that work very well together. Even Red and Leonard's initial bickering is more LikeAnOldMarriedCouple instead of arch enemies, [[SillyReasonForWar blatantly showing how meaningless and immature their prolonged war really was]].
** When Zeta destroys Mighty Eagle's mountain and the group heads to the emergency exit, ''Leonard'' can be seen [[AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther grabbing Red just in time to stop him from falling off the cliff]].
** When the hatchlings accidentally arrive at Piggy Island, they quickly befriend the three piglets they meet there, and the six of them even work together to get the eggs back and then arrive just in time to help stop Zeta's weapon. The hatchlings set off on their adventure before the truce was announced, [[ChildrenAreInnocent meaning they were perfectly capable of looking past their differences all by themselves]].

* The speed-dating scene came with a pleasant surprise when Chuck and Bomb ended up being paired with Dahlia and Willow from the ''Angry Birds Stella'' spin-off, in what would be a very short and rare, but sweet crossover moment that any Stella fan should savor with the spin-off game's fifth anniversary coming on the heels of the sequel's release. Their minor appearance in this film once again should be well appreciated, especially when these gals are seemingly fading into obscurity in the ''Angry Birds'' franchise by this time, with their game and [[WesternAnimation/AngryBirdsStella web series]] long gone.

* The movie came out on the tenth anniversary of the ''Franchise/AngryBirds'' series - but that's also just weeks away from the fifth anniversary of the ''Angry Birds Stella'' spin-off - a fact that few would like to celebrate or notice. With the Stella characters seemingly fading into obscurity and no sign of them in the sequel's marketing, any Stella fan might think Sony and Rovio would actually dump these young ladies. Wrong! Stella and her friends appear once again - and some of them even come face to face with the classic Angry Birds in the speed-dating scene! What a rare but sweet moment to see such close encounter, if you can once again forgive how they don't say a single word or get a lot of screen time.
