* Why did Doza leave the Empire? [[LoveRedeems Because of Venisa.]] Ever since, the two were inseparable, according to Yeager.
* Venisa's attempts at getting through to Tam.
** Although Tam doesn't seem to have met Venisa before, the latter is still familiar with her, implying that she heard about her from Torra or Yeager.
** Venisa assuring Tam that Yeager misses her and loves her as if she were his own late daughter.
* Despite claiming he would, Rucklin ultimately hesitates to pull the trigger on Tam when she gets held hostage by Venisa. Venisa then says that both he and Tam are on the wrong side, so for all Rucklin's jerkassery, it looks like there's still hope for him.
* Kaz and the Aces making a gelatin cake with a gorg in it for Torra.
* Doza watching a recording of his and Venisa's goodbye, with the latter saying that she has to leave so that their family can be safe while also telling him that she has faith he'll raise Torra to become an amazing pilot and the recording ending with the two having a forehead touch. He apparently rewatches it regularly because it comforts him in her absence.

* Oplock and Neeku develop a friendly bond very quickly.
* Marcus explaining to Yeager that he came to the Colossus to make things right with him and apologising for what he did in the past. It's clear that Yeager's family meant a lot to him too and aside from the guilt and shame he felt for his part in it, he also needed to grieve their loss.
* Yeager letting Marcus win the race in order to save Oplock. Not just because it helps Oplock, but also because it shows Yeager trusts Marcus when he says he's racing for something other than himself, which Yeager seemed adamant would never be the case.
* The two brothers sharing a hug and beginning to mend the bridge between them.
-->'''Yeager:''' It's good to have you back, brother.
-->'''Marcus:''' I was just about to say the same thing. Are we good?
-->'''Yeager:''' ...No. But, we will be one day.
-->'''Marcus:''' Well, it's better than where we were.

* Seeing more of our heroes playing video games together, this time as a group of Torra, Kaz, Tam and Synara. Each of them seem to really have fun in each other's company and are happy to be there, even Synara.
* Synara choosing to alert Kaz and Doza to Torra's kidnapping, even though it could have sabotaged her own people's mission. Whatever her job, Torra is still her friend.

to:

* Kaz helping Synara escape the First Order. When she asks why, he says that even if she's a pirate, he still believes she's a good person.
