* In an episode on either the first or second season (I can´t quite remember now, I saw it years ago), I remember Fi doing some research about a supposed aquatic monster in a town that had been flooded by the construction of a dam. Well, in the scene when the monster was finally revealed, I sort of expected him to look sort of a hideous scaly monster who would attack Fi. Turns out it just looked like a regular dude in his twenties who had a conversation with her. When Fi asked why he had stayed at his house when he already knew his hometown was going to be flooded, he replied "Because it´s my home. You would never want to leave if it was your home too...". The fact that the guy had refused to leave the place he loved the most and had in fact adapted to live underwater just because of sheer force of will looked a bit heartwarming to me.
** Actually that was Annie
