Even moreso, according to ''Literature/GravityFallsJournal3'', it turns out that Love God's potions only last three hours and its effects only remain if the couple's love is real. Since they were still together ten hours before Mabel learned the truth, that means that they actually ''are'' in love and not just forced together by the potion, which also takes away the FamilyUnfriendlyAesop the episode displayed.

* Stan describes their father as being not one to be fazed by things. Said father's first words when he hears Stanford is so smart he might get into a top tier university? "I'm impressed." Stanford's proud smile only adds to it.

* Stan and Mabel making up after their fight, culminating in the two of them falling asleep together [[ItMakesSenseInContext covered in tree sap.]]

* Oddly enough, the two Unicorns that come to reveal to Mabel that the whole "pure of heart" thing is a fluke. They actually take the time to call out their friend on how big of an asshole he's being.

* Despite a case of ''massive'' overreaction and DisproportionateRetribution towards teenagers, Ma and Pa Duskerton turn out to be a grandparently pair of ghosts who are much nicer towards actual children that end up in their store, and act very loving toward eachother even in death.

Dipper could have finally figured out the mysteries of Gravity Falls. Mabel could finally find the perfect summer crush. But neither of them think about either of that for a split second. The only thing they got on their minds is Soos' happiness. That, right there, is true friendship.

* Twice during this episode, Stan calls Mabel "sweetie." Given how salty he usually is, it's incredibly sweet.

* There's just something adorable about the way Waddles gingerly puts his hoof on Stans finger and grunts at him when Stan tells Waddles he's watching him. Stan might not like Waddles much, but Waddles definetly likes Stan.

* Amazingly enough, outside the events of the show, ''Bill Cipher'' arguably gets one. One of Bill's quotes [[AllThereInTheManual from the Reddit AMA]] isn't especially [[CrowningMomentOfFunny funny]], [[BlackComedy darkly humorous]], or NightmareFuel, but rather talks about how being creative and original isn't something you can just buy. A ''villainous dream-triangle'' actually gave advice that seems like it would be from a website of meaningful quotes. Just try saying this quote to a fellow Faller when the opportunity arises and ''then'' reveal who said it.:

* Stan's face during the utterly heartbreaking portion of the goodbyes where Mabel is trying to shake off Waddles is bad, but is immediately followed by a CrowningMomentofHeartwarming when he furiously insists that he had to live with Waddles for the whole summer, so now Mr. and Mrs. Pines have to too. While it's covered up by the usual Grunkle Stan bluster, it's so clear that he loves Mabel intensely and hates to see her sad, and is willing to go the extra mile to make her happy... like threaten the bus driver. And it's not just him, Ford backs him up threatening the driver with his gun.

* Stan fights a pterodactyl to protect Waddles, solely because he loves Mabel and wants her to be happy. It's both heartwarming and [[CrowningMomentOfAwesome awesome]].

* Dipper giving up his hard fought time travel assisted friendship boost with Wendy, so Mabel can keep her new pig, Waddles. The thank-you hug she gave him afterwards was nothing short of ''adorable''.
