* Sam's ad is heartwarming this time around. After setting off a false fire alarm to get everyone to leave the studio, Sam tries to reveal the cast's deep, dark secrets, like that Matt... is as nice off camera as he is on camera, and that whenever Taliesin goes to Burning Man, he has a habit of... taking newcomers under his wing to make sure they're safe and comfortable. Sam then decides to mess with Laura's dice to make her angry... only to realize he feels too guilty to do that, because she sends him funny TikToks all the time and it's the highlight of his day.

* Orym tries to try to contact Caleb on a whim... and discovers that Sending is working again. Neither he nor Imogen are able to contain their excitement as they immediately explain the situation to Caleb, then contact Keyleth to tell her where the portal to Ruidus is.

* Jester is ''overjoyed'' to learn that Sending works again. During her flurry of Sendings to Imogen, she promises her a hug when they meet. Imogen was visibly touched, and so was Laura.
* After contacting Keyleth and letting her know about the portal, Orym looks about ready to collapse out of sheer relief. In the middle of planning, he suddenly pulls Imogen into a ''massive'' hug.

* Amid everything that's going on, in the middle of a mass debate about whether the gods are even 'worth it' to save at all that tends toward the cynical, Orym is the only one with the simple compassion to tell the Matron of Ravens that he's sorry for the loss of her friend.

** When Ashton falls at the last hurdle of the second test due to bad luck and poor rolls, Nana Morri returns him unharmed to the rest of the group and offers them a chance at a retry, albeit one with no safety nets, a five minute countdown clock and the path behind them crumbling out from under them. Orym volunteers, picks Imogen and Chetney as his guides and makes it through the maze without putting a foot wrong.

* Dangerous and unsettling as the first two of Nana Morri's scavenger hunt/team building challenges are, they have the desired effect of rebuilding trust and communication between Bell's Hells. The honesty challenge forces them to be open about their fears and insecurities to escape a leech infested swamp with a cavernous gorge; the communication challenge has members being led blindfolded and given verbal commands by teammates, along a narrow and winding walkway above a bottomless abyss, with many switchbacks and curves to navigate, obstacles in the form of thunder-wasp swarms to avoid or plow through, and penalties for cross-talk or getting too loud.

* Chetney gives F.C.G. his gift: a clock with different images of emotions on it that F.C.G. can use to communicate how he feels to the group.
** Then F.C.G. shows he himself carved a toolbox for Chetney, along with a small etching of Chetney's tattoo on it. While Chetney snarks at how amateurish the piece is, he's clearly touched by F.C.G's thoughtfulness.

* On a meta level, after the Hells were forced to let Laudna die, Matt kindly and discreetly calls an early break in order to give the cast time off-camera to process and collect themselves.
** Similarly, with two party members down, the clock ticking, and only 300g in diamonds and a single 3rd-level spell slot remaining, it was obvious that Laudna and Orym's lives were in Fearne's hands alone. Ostensibly, the suggestion that they flip a coin or use some other impartial method was from FCG to Fearne in-character; but with Ashley ''also'' visibly distressed, there was a clear above-table reassurance as well.

** FCG's attempt at casting Compulsion out of desperate grief earns him a poetic Natural 1. (On a meta level, in the Four-Sided Dive that discussed this episode, Sam admits that he was so stressed out of character that he didn't think through the implications of casting a [[TraumaButton Compulsion spell on Laudna]] and instantly regretted it.) Before that moment, however, his appeal was genuine and kind.

* Orym receives a new sword, from what appears to be a sign from Will. Matt even describes how Orym somehow recognizes the scent of his husband coming from the gift.
** In a meta sense, unlike most magic items in his campaigns, Matt lets Liam name his new sword.
** Fearne waits for Orym until he's finished with his business, not even attempting to join the others until she sees he's done.

* FRIDA pulls Deanna off to the side to confess to her [[spoiler: that they might have a crush on F.C.G.]] Deanna is delighted and encourages FRIDA to pursue these emotions, clearly happy for her friend.

* FRIDA ends up [[spoiler: giving F.C.G. a kiss on the cheek after confessing to liking them.]] F.C.G's emotion wheel spins wildly before landing on the "excited" emotion.

* Orym coming upon Gwendolyn and offering to introduce her to his friends. The little girl is excited and "commands" Orym to introduce her. The Hells indulge Gwendolyn calling herself the queen of the house and Laudna attempts to appeal to the child's fascination with "scary" things. Unfortunately, the moment is ruined by Gwendolyn [[spoiler: sensing Delilah's hatred through Laudna, scaring her.]]

* Ashton admits to liking Fearne, and it shocks Fearne so much she runs away in a fluster. Ashton even kisses Fearne later, [[spoiler: before they attempt to take the shard into themselves and nearly die in the process.]]
* As Ashton [[spoiler: shatters and reforms due to the shard]], Orym is hesitant about leaving. Clearly staying because Fearne was trying to save Ashton, and refusing to leave her side.

* As Ashton [[spoiler: shatters and reforms due to the core]] Orym is hesitant on leaving. Clearly staying because Fearne was trying to save Ashton, and refusing to leave her side.

** He then offers an activity to help Fearne feel better. Smashing all the windows they can find on the Whitestone Manor. This does end up cheering her up. Even Gwendolyn gets in on the fun.

* Once they return to the Feywild, Fearne reunites with her parents and Nana Mori. She even gives Tummy Nana a kiss.
* Mori cackles with glee when she realizes the Hells are coming to the Feywild as a retreat and are planning a scavenger hunt. She eagerly offers to help plan the event with FCG.
