** After this incident, Ami and Jon talk in private, and Ami reveals that he was in a car accident and let other employees run the bar while he was recovering. This decision nearly led to them running the bar into the ground and [[FreudianExcuse Ami's issues with others telling him how to run it]]. By having this heart to heart and opening up to Jon like this, Jon is able to help Ami work past this and [[TookALevelInKindness become a better manager]].

** Though she is barely seen throughout the episode and therefore it's easy to miss, Vanessa consoling Cerissa after Amanda assaulted her is refreshing as at least she turned out okay despite her parents being amoral degenerates.

* As much of a trainwreck O-Face was, seeing Syck stand up for Dave when Matt assaulted him by throwing Matt against the building then refusing to throw Dave through the window was refreshing to see someone at the bar had morals.

* "Gutterball!" has a total HeelFaceTurn, and one of the most blatant examples at that. After recon, Jon goes in like a KnightOfCerebus, calling the owner Mike an asshole and gathering the staff who happily admit the same (and not for nothing, Mike was for sure an asshole). When it's all said and done, Mike lightens up and Jon personally gives him $10,000 so that way the bowling alley can stay afloat long enough until business becomes steady again. They share an embrace that you never would think would come given their first impression. Just goes to show a lot can change in a week.

* The family's comradery in "Long Live A Legacy". Joe and Raja had a long-time friendship and happily retired, leaving the business to Raja's kids. During their struggles with the business, Joe left retirement to help them. Raja's children have nothing but the highest praise for Joe and say he's not a failure; it's just that he worked as a team with Raja and has trouble working on his own. While Jon is praising the son, [[HumbleHero he defends his sister, saying he's been in the business way longer than she has, which is why he's better than her.]] The other workers even say they love the family, and their failures are shown simply to be due to being trained wrong by the sister, who, as said, is still fairly new herself. The kids even call Joe "Uncle Joe," as he never had kids himself. The family is entirely receptive to all the changes, and Jon clearly enjoyed helping them, as he knew he wasn't dealing with any arrogant owners, lazy staff, or liars; this is just a family having trouble adjusting because the head of the operation died.

* Jerry cleaning up his act and stepping up to be a commendable partner in "Hostile Takeover". Taffer even tells him to bask in the appreciation he was given for his performance during the stress test because he deserves it.

* In "Second Base, Third Strike", Jon Taffer wrongly accuses Garry of ruining the previously rescued bar (formerly Extremes), the bartenders immediately jump to his defense and insist it was Terry's fault and Garry has done nothing but work his ass off with his limited resources. By the end, Jon Taffer admits he misjudged Garry and he has a great future ahead of him even if Terry is a lost cause.
