** [[TheFriendNobodyLikes OG Loc]]. Throughout all of his appearances he displays himself as an [[{{Manchild}} annoying, whiny brat]] with [[SmallNameBigEgo delusions of grandeur]], who somehow thinks he can make a career as a rapper despite being utterly devoid of any semblance of talent and having the personality of sour milk. First, he coaxes CJ into commiting several crimes outrageous, even by GTA's standards, without even rewarding him anyhow. First, he tells CJ to ruin the party at the beach by stealing a van with the sound system in it. Then, on Loc's behalf, CJ massacres a manor full of guards to steal Madd Dogg's rhyme book and assassinates Dogg's manager by drowning him with his mistress in their car. All this ruins Dogg's career, almost commiting suicide in the process. After Dogg's entire works is in shambles, Loc bastardizes Dogg's lyrics his atrocius music and finally proves be a DirtyCoward when CJ and Dogg decide to get back at him.

** [[spoiler:Dimitri Rascalov]] is one of the most hated GTA antagonists. There is nothing remotely likable about him; he is a DirtyCoward, a SmugSnake, and a [[ChronicBackstabbingDisorder backstabbing]] [[{{jerkass}} jerk]] ''combined'', without a single PetTheDog moment on his name. Throughout the game, after having Niko kill his alleged friend Mikhail Fuastian, Dimitri takes control of Mikhail's operations and tries to sell Niko out to Ray Bulgarin, before burning down Niko's apartment. Dimitri would later have Roman kidnaped to try to get at Niko, and in the Deal Ending, sends a hitman after Niko at Roman's wedding, getting Roman killed. In that same ending, Dimitri betraye and kills his new partner Jimmy Pegarino to take his shares from their deal.

** Catalina, who was also n ''VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoIII'', where she betrays and repeatedly tries to kill Claude, and every one of her associates for her ambitions in the Colombian Cartel, is even worse in this game. It's shown in this game she was a raging psychotic murderer and generally unpleasant to those around her. She would also constantly abuse and belittle CJ throughout their one-sided relationship over incredibly petty reasons, [[NeverMyFault even blaming him for some of her own mistakes]]. When she hooks up with Claude, she would constantly call CJ whilst having sex with the former, for no reason other than to annoy him.

** [[DirtyCop Steve Haines]], the games other main antagonsit, is a corrupt FIB Agent, who is introduced when he almost throttles Michael because he stood up to him, and later has Trevor torture an innocent man before ordering said man killed. He becomes more and more of a dick as the game goes on. Throughout the game, he is a [[SmugSnake arrogant]], [[FauxAffablyEvil falsely charming]], obstreperous, and obnoxious person, who is a ControlFreak who thinks he could control Michael and Trevor. [[spoiler:When their [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness usefulness has ended]] and his corruption comes to light, he attempts to frame Michael for his operations, and tries to strong arm Franklin into killing Trevor to tie loose ends.]] Worse yet, he was a good friend to the aforementioned Devin. [[spoiler:Thankfully, you can TakeAThirdOption by having him killed, and the protagonists [[KarmaHoudini face no repercussions]] as his former allies are grateful that he's gone and the FIB doesn't care much either]].

* ''VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoIVTheBalladOfGayTony'': Rocco Pelosi is the one who deserves the HateSink [[PoliticallyIncorrectVillain due to his xenophobic insults thrown constantly at Tony Prince and Luis]]. And unlike Mori (who is just a {{Jerkass}}), Rocco is a malicious, despicable {{Jerkass}} who gets worse as the storyline progresses. [[spoiler:Unfortunately, the game has him pull a KarmaHoudini, so players had to wait four year until GTA V for his well-deserved death.]] Similarly, Vince Pelosi, his uncle, is just as nasty as him.

** [[CorruptCorporateExecutive Devin Weston]], the BigBad of ''[=GTA 5=]'', is perhaps one of the most despised antagonists of the GTA series. Sure, there's a lot of [[{{jerkass}} jerkasses]] around, but he's so sarcastic, narcissistic, immature (he behaves like a teenage boy who just happens to have a lot of wealth and power) and annoying that he manages to attract a certain level of hatred, both in-universe and out. He is also a DirtyCoward who pulled a lot of jerk moves on Franklin and Michael. [[spoiler:He only gets worse when he sends Merryweather to Michael's family out of spite. Thankfully, you can TakeAThirdOption by having him killed, and the protagonists [[KarmaHoudini face no repercussions]] as the FIB simply lists him as "missing" and his former allies are grateful that he's gone]].

** [[DirtyCop Officers]] [[BigBad Tenpenny]] and [[TheDragon Pulaski]] are a duo of corrupt officers, who are the source of CJ's problems and that of his friends and family. They work alongside the Ballas, and orchestrate an attempt to kill Sweet that inadvertently gets Beverly Johnson killed. They threaten to frame CJ for the murder of a cop who tried to expose them, in order to get CJ to do their dirty work; later resorting to having Sweet's life threatened in prison. This dirty work includes having CJ destroy evidence against their corruption, and kill witnesses and investigators against th.

* ''VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoIII'': Marty Chonks. A man who runs a dog food factory in Trenton and makes Claude do dirty work by bringing the people who rat him out to the factory and then kill them inside, forcing Claude to get rid of the evidence. [[spoiler:Some players [[AndThereWasMuchRejoicing cheered]] when Chonks’ last mission ended with [[DeathByIrony Carl killing him.]]]]

** [[BadBoss Billy Grey]] himself, more and more as the storyline progresses. [[spoiler:When Jason Michaels is killed by Niko Bellic, Billy Grey lies and says the Angels of Death killed him, using this as an excuse to steal their heroin. It turns out the heroin belonged to the Liberty City Triads who demand it be returned. Jim and Johnny manage to convince Billy to do so, but not before he makes a deal with the Triads so that they kill Jim and Johnny when the two go to return it. Fortunately, they fight their way out, and Billy gets arrested by the LAPD that the Triads tipped off ([[NeverMyFault while blaming Johnny for it]]). Billy's imprisonment causes Brian, [[UndyingLoyalty his most]] [[YesMan loyal follower]], and the members who were also loyal to Billy to betray the other members of the club, which starts a civil war. Finally, he decides to testify against the Lost in order to be released from prison (even after stressing the importance of loyalty to Johnny). This prompts the Lost to break into the prison Billy's being held at in order to silence him. During his last moments, he goads Johnny into executing him before [[DefiantToTheEnd attempting to stab him with a shank.]] Violent, [[TheHedonist hedonistic]], and utterly [[AxCrazy psychopathic]], Billy is one of the few characters in the Grand Theft Auto franchise to have absolutely ''zero'' redeeming qualities, and [[ItsAllAboutMe who's loyalty lies only towards himself.]] [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking Oh, and he brags about banging Johnny's girlfriend Ashley to his face.]]]]

He is this InUniverse as well, since if you kill him instead of Derrick, Patrick will not mourn his death at all. Many people killed him instead of Derrick in his last mission despite the fact that he offers money and the ability to remove wanted levels over Derrick rewarding you with nothing at all.
