* Chapter 408: In spite of the NigtmareFuel this chapter and the previous one provides, many fans find out painfully hilarious that after a long time of buildup and waiting, the third user of One For All's name is ''Bruce.''

** Shigaraki throughout the entire ceremony just seems annoyed by everything. While Re-Destro is hyping him up all Shigaraki can think is that his new coat is itchy. During his part in the Paranormal Liberation Front introduction, he proceeds to [[FunnyBackgroundEvent read off his lines from a cue card]] and admits by the end that the entire ceremony is just a decoration and their just going to do what they want regardless.

** Snippets of Midoriya's training with the rest of 1A is shown, as the chapter opens with Bakugo demonstrating the new power levels his Cluster moves and bring, catching Izuku in another another game of tag and hitting him with an explosion that returns his hair to it's FunnyAfro look from before. When Izuku slips up and says that '[[ChronicHeroSyndrome he'd]]' better rejoin the search for All For One soon, Iida hits him with a DopeSlap that uses his fuzzy hair down over his eyes, resulting in the adorable-yet-funny image of Izuku's eyes and ''YouthfulFreckles'' peeking out of his messy hair.

* Chapter 404: The chapter only highlights once again in short order how absolutely All For One ''cannot'' learn from his past mistakes and how indulging n his childish sadism will '''never''' be a good idea. He spent the last chapter revealing that, despite the selflessness inherent in sacrificing your life taking him aback, his past humiliations with prior heroes made him aware that All Might would do ''something'' to turn the tables, and he intentionally invoked the HopeSpot just to thwart it and emotionally break his nemesis with his "close" failure before physically breaking him before the watching eyes of the world. He systematically and methodically targets and destroys any and all heroes or helpers in the area, leaving nobody who could stand in his way, and with Izuku stuck in a SadisticChoice of holding down Tomura and ForcedToWatch, he's on the verge of ripping All Might in two, going slowly to savour his agony....then the almost-dead Bakugou zooms in out of apparently nowhere to rip his victory out of his hands by ripping his arms off, leaving All For One with a hilarious look of frozen rage on his face. His expression screams YouHaveGotToBeKiddingMe, so overcome with anger and humiliation that he's been thwarted ''again'' at the eleventh hour despite the seeming impossibility of his losing, that he almost can't seem to process it, his mind shutting down from pure rage and rejection for this turn of events.

** When Iida approaches Kaminari and Mineta to thank them for their idea and get them to join the rest of the boys for training, the two schemers are utterly terrified. Iida approaches them in a friendly manner, but his seriousness coupled with his bulk frighten the two. He then carried each one in each arm as if they were misbehaving toddlers.

** There's something very funny about Dabi marching into what is essentially a job interview and immediately insulting his prospective boss. It gets even funnier when Giran comments that he hasn't committed any noteworthy crimes. Presumably he was relying on his quirk being strong enough to get him in, except ''he can't use it withoutburning himself'', making it not especially useful. Dabi essentially walked into a job interview with no experience and nothing to offer, and his first move was to call the boss ugly. You have to admire his sheer unearned confidence.

* Chapter 400: Aoyama pushed his Navel Laser so hard that Toru's invisibility is glitching, meaning she is truly seen for the first time in her life. She blinks, looks at herself, looks at her hand... and realizes she's still naked.
