* Another dark gameplay example happens during Chapter 19. At the start of the battle, you're specifically told there's no point stopping to help anyone, as everyone in town is dead. There are still villages on the map. [[SchmuckBait Try visiting them]] and, sure enough, you just get a Corrupted screaming in your face and more enemies spawning. (Said enemies ''do'' drop items, so you technically still get a reward, but it's still an amusing case of [[SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome "what did you expect?"]])

* Céline and Hortensia's Support line involves Hortensia trying to have a cuteness competition with Céline having no idea and just wants to invite her for tea. Hortensia pokes Céline for measurement and she's just amused. But then, in the latter conversations, even when Hortensia 'gives up' on the competition and declares losing, Céline just approaches her, the screen fades to black and...

** Even better, Fogado actually ends up acknowledging that he would have said the same thing to his alternate self. Though MoodWhiplash quickly follows when Alternate Fogado declares his intent to KillAndReplace his real world self.

* Yunaka's first meeting of the party has her trying to garner their sympathy with CrocodileTears [[BadBadActing so terrible]] she even [[SayingSoundEffectsOutLoud says "sniffle sniffle" out loud.]] Alear still seems wary, but Alfred totally buys it. Alfred also takes her seriously when she claims she just almost has a heart attack from surprise.

* Anytime Pandreo's support partner lets out a howl in their supports with each other is worth a chuckle. Alear and Alcryst eventually come around and join in on the fun, Rosado is howling in excitement right from the start, and Fogado...gives the most unenthusiastic "howl" of the bunch.

* When looking for which bandit has the Emblem Ring, Yunaka's able to spot it by a glint from a distance. When Alear compliments her vision, she enters her dangerous mode and says she has "a killer's eyes", before immediately putting on the cheery voice again and [[VerbalBackspace claiming she said she has "killer eyes" when Alear asks for clarification]].

* In general, some of the Engage victory quotes can elicit chuckles depending on who says them. Anna, for example, tends to make even the most serious ones sound ''completely ridiculous''. (She'll deliver Leif and Eirika's ReluctantWarrior lines [[ComicallyMissingThePoint in the most cheerful way possible]]). Soren's battle lines can also be jarringly hilarious on characters you would last expect to hear them from, especially if Soren's cold no-nonsense attitude clashes with his ring bearer's personality. Yes, even cheerful {{nice girl}}s like Chloé and Veyle can trash talk their enemies by calling them mediocre or outright tell them if [[PrepareToDie they are ready to die]].

* One BondOneLiner from Leif is "I'm not a child (anymore)". Depending on who he's engaged with, however, the host unit could appear to express denial (Jean, Anna, or Hortensia) or state the obvious (Vander, Lindon, or Saphir).

* In Rosado's C-Bond conversation with Lucina, shw wants to make a suggestion on how to make his wyvern cuter. Rosado's response implies she already suggested a bear hat for it, which he shot down.
