** Gets even funnier in the next scene; the previous one just showed the people starting to remember how to use their tools and intellect properly again, with the world looking otherwise just as ruined and crapsack before. The movie then shows a whole group of people acting like barely sentient morons, including a crazy old man, a bunch of shrieking, bratty kids, a boy yanking on a dogs ears, etc. Cue the Wave, and suddenly everyone not only become sophisticated and intelligent, reading books they didn't have before (including a baby), even their ''clothes'' change to stylish formal wear, and the buildings in the background change from unlivable mud huts to Arcadian mansions. One man even writes on a laptop, even though technology was outlawed for everyone except Mandark until about 30 seconds ago.
