** Furthermore, as the kids note when they first find them, they note that the Iron Avengers have a counterpart for everyone but Iron Man (they actually mention both Iron Man and Wasp, but Iron Wasp is later revealed to be inside Iron Giant Man), while Ultron has noticeable shared design traits with Iron Man, particularly having a Unibeam on his chest and repulsors in his palms, it is entirely likely that Ultron was originally the Iron Avenger version of Iron Man, and then later redesigned himself to less resemble his 'father'. It may also explain why Tony never activated the Iron Avengers, after Ultron went bad, he was concerned that the others would as well.

* Ultron and Tony Stark have the same voice actor (Tom Kane), now at first, one could take this is simply cutting costs by not hiring another voice actor to do one of the roles. However, after it is revealed that Tony built Ultron in the story, it suddenly makes sense, as it is very possible Tony would install parts of his own personality into Ultron.
* James Rogers was more than likely named after Captain America's old friend and sidekick James "Bucky" Barnes.
