* The first chapter of ''LightNovel/MasterOfTheHeavenlyYard'' is called "Epilogue" while the last one is called "Prologue". This feels a little backwards, but then, the story opens with the ''end'' of the Third Period and ends with [[spoiler:the ''beginning'' of the Fourth Period]].

* Guillotines sometimes don't kill in the first strike. Even then, it's thought that the head is still alive for just a little bit after being severed. [[spoiler: Riliane might have had to watch her brother suffer while being executed, on top of her being the reason for his death.]]

* mothy makes plenty of references to the real world, but sometimes these references cause confusion about how they came about in-series. An example is Riliane's last name as "d'Autriche"; out-of-universe, it's a clear reference to Marie Antoinette, but in real life Marie was called "d'Autriche" because it's French for "from Austria". In-series, though there is no Austria in Bolganio...Similarly, the [[CrystalDragonJesus Levin Church]] carries crosses but have no Jesus figure who died on one to venerate.

* The Master of the Court loving Gallerian Marlon as her "father" despite not being Eve or Michelle makes sense when it's revealed that she is actually [[spoiler:Irina Clockworker, who becomes Maria Moonlit]], who had loved [[spoiler:her son, Adam Moonlit, who bears a striking resemblance to Gallerian]].

* Gallerian's name sounds similar to the word [[MeaningfulName "gallery."]] He also owns a gallery of sin vessels in Evil's Theater.

For ''every'' native Elphe to have green hair, it would have to be an insanely dominant gene, so if her parents had it, their hair would have been green as well.

In the context of the song and the story, it refers to Hansel and Gretel, whose HERS and BornAgainImmortality could both be considered a curse, and were responsible for creating and releasing the Seven Deadly Sins featured in the song. But in the context of our universe, it could also refer to Rilliane and Allen, whom the latter described as "cursed by fate", and whose stories the Chronicles have since expanded from.

I've seen speculation that Nemesis has some Elphe heritage that merely reappeared in her green hair, but if either of her parents had Elphe blood, their hair would certainly have been green.
