* RealityEnsues: Even though Rin is a top class mage, it doesn't mean much she's effectively providing power to two Servants. Without enough magical energy for the Servants, this would naturally limit their abilities. She attempts to fix this problem for Shirou by providing him with Jewels as an emergency.
** Even though, she's a little more in touch with her humanity, it's really not enough to start to fix the bad blood between Arturia & Mordred. To her credit, Arturia is trying, but neither she nor Mordred has ever been the best with dealing with or processing their emotions. One conversation in the midst of trying to kill each other isn't going to instantly solve their issues as one has been out of touch from her humanity for so long that it stunted her emotional & social development & the other is essentially a child in a teenager's body.

* QualityOverQuantity: [[spoilers:Rin ends up facing off against three of the Black factions mages on her own. While she does take some hits and uses a fair number of gems by the end of the fight she is the victor. Thanks to her natural talent as a mage, her years of training, and experience fighting in fifth Holy Grail War Rin ends up killing Celenike and putting Fiore and Gordes down for the count.]]

** Vlad actually gains a significant measure of respect for Rin after she unflinchingly stands up to him and successfully convinces the Black Faction to stand down to allow her and her allies to leave.

* EmbarrassingNickname: This sums up Rin's feelings about the color that their faction of herself, Shirou, and Saber are given by Zelretch. Luckily, Ruler fixes that little pickle by formally dubbing them the Blue Faction in honor of Saber's signature look. Unfortunately, everyone else in the war hasn't been made aware of this, so they still refer to their faction by their initial color designation: [[spoiler:The Periwinkle Faction]].

* OffscreenMomentOfAwesome:[[spoiler:Siegfried returns Avalon to Arturia offscreen after they fended off the Hanging Gardens.]]

** Jack the Ripper's Master Reika Rikudo canonically died trying to protect Jack from Atalante. Since she isn't present when Jack is killed this time, and more importantly the heroes don't know who or where she is, Reika survives the Grail War this time.

** Achilles had the grand opportunity to possible eliminate both Saber of Blue & Black but decided not to do so due to his warrior's vow. Also counts as a WhatAnIdiot moment.
