Apparently DC Entertainment and The WB have picked up the author and the work. If sources are to be believed we'll be seeing a mature reboot of the Pokemon franchise is 2015 and it will bring talents like Kit Harrington as Ash, Liam Neeson as Professor Oak, and [[spoiler:Sean Bean as Giovanni]] to bear.
