* BilingualBackfire: PlayedWith in that it is rather unintentional on both sides. Shmi sometimes shifts into an alternate language that is not Basic, first adressing a blessing to Azem, then scolding Anakin during the assault on the palace. Both times, Azem fails to realize she switched languages because of the Echo and understands what she says perfectly.

Asskicking Equals Authority has been renamed.

* AsskickingEqualsAuthority: As Helios explains, the reason he got the Seat of Azem wasn't because he was Venat's protégé. It was because he was the only one who could fight her to a standstill.

This or these examples of Surprisingly Realistic Outcome seem to violate at least one of these rules, which disqualifies them: No character reactions (characters get angry, don't forgive, don't change their personality instantly, etc.); Too fantastical (depends on the properties of magic, powers, sci-fi tech, monsters, etc.); Not surprising (a character was warned about the outcome, it's used to provide Karma or An Aesop, or it simply follows normal conventions for this genre or medium); Plot happens (the example only describes an event, but not why audiences would expect a different, unrealistic outcome); Not an outcome (a character just explains why something wouldn't work as expected, or something is just an innate aspect of the setting or character that has a logical reason for being present); More of a Deconstruction (the event has major, lasting effects on the plot, make something more realistic, but not completely realistic, or a parody/fanwork applies realistic consequences to the events of a different work); or fits better under a different trope. See the trope's definition for more details. If you believe a removal was a mistake, please bring it up in the cleanup thread.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: Anakin may be a powerful Force user who quickly takes to RedMage after some advice from Helios, but he remains a child and tires faster than an adult. During the final fight in Spearhead's throne room, he is nearly caught by an attack, forcing Helios to use his LimitBreak to end it.

** Boss Rogue turns to have been a Sith Lord with a fondness for biomanipulation, something which explains the creatures the group met in Spearhead.

Added DiffLines:

* EvilutionaryBiologist: Boss Rogoe was one. Amidst his creations are Dark-infused Gungans and the various mutated creatures Helios, Shmi, Anakin and Jar-Jar found in Spearhead. He met his demise when they turned against him.

* ALighterShadeOfBlack: is a Sith apprentice, yet his desire is to build an Order which can coexist with the Jedi, arguing that both are necessary to the Galaxy and the Galaxy is wide-enough for both sides. calls him naive and doesn't believe it'll work. Helios is more supportive.

* AffablyEvil: is very much a Sith Lord. He remains jovial and curious, eager to discuss science with Helios and hear his story while admitting he would miss if he were to die.

* ChildByRape: Downplayed. Helios's mother did agree to sleep with that Garlean soldier. But, when the alternative was brutal retribution on her village and being taken regardless, Shmi wonders how much of a choice it was.

** Upon visiting Otoh Gunga for the first time, Helios repeats Venat's words about the beauty of the world and how it brings her joy. He then tearfully admits she would have loved the city.
