For It Amused Me, Luna did not know it would be a realistic fight simulation because she is used to an outdated set of rules. The details are not disclosed but it is seemingly more complex than "anything goes except killing". Protagonist Centered Morality example doesn't work because Luna is not the protagonist. That would be Twilight. Besides, Luna WAS punished. It just wasn't in the same way as Twilight. That tax code assignment is definitely bad, and it had an extra share of irony because Luna had been wanting to become more involved with the government. Also, Celestia gave her a What The Hell Hero after Twilight's "sentencing".
