Shipping Goggles TRS cleanup, examples are to be removed as it's now just Fan Speak (only wicks in descriptions).

* ShipTease: Nothing solid just yet - but the one-sided Naru/Hina is definately there. There might be some Shikako ShipTease in several chapters for those who insist on wearing ShippingGoggles.

These examples of Surprisingly Realistic Outcome seem to violate at least one of these rules, which disqualifies them: No character reactions (characters get angry, don't forgive, don't change their personality instantly, etc.); Too fantastical (depends on the properties of magic, powers, sci-fi tech, monsters, etc.); Not surprising (a character was warned about the outcome, it's used to provide Karma or An Aesop, or it simply follows normal conventions for this genre or medium); Plot happens (the example only describes an event, but not why audiences would expect a different, unrealistic outcome); Not an outcome (a character just explains why something wouldn't work as expected); More of a Deconstruction (the event has major, lasting effects on the plot, make something more realistic, but not completely realistic, or a parody/fanwork applies realistic consequences to the events of a different work); or fits better under a different trope. See the trope's definition for more details. If you believe a removal was a mistake, please bring it up in the cleanup thread.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome:
** Shikako finds in Chapter 1 that most of history is either covered up or simple propaganda thanks to the secretive nature of ninjas.
** It's noted in Chapter 3 neglect Naruto feels is a combination of adults not wanting to do anything with him and the orphanage caretakers already being run ragged with all the orphans they look after.
---> Naruto was annoying. He wasn't abused or treated badly. People didn't really even glare that much. To them, he was just ''there'', as unimportant as the trees by the side of the road. He was the epitome of 'somebody else's problem'. Most children are, and that 'somebody else' is their parent. Naruto didn't have parents, and the orphanage caregivers were run so ragged with so many children they had no time for individual attention. He just… wasn't important to anyone. Yeah, it might have been emotional neglect, but it wasn't done intentionally or maliciously. There was just no time. But he wanted attention. He craved it. And he would go to extreme lengths to get it. He was a brat and knowing why didn't make it any easier to deal with. He was obnoxious and loud and insulting and for all his desire to be a ninja never sat still to listen to anything he didn't deem 'cool'.
** Academy students are taught a fighting style that takes into account their smaller sizes and inexperience.
---> At the academy we were all taught an adaptation of the basic Konoha-ryu style, called the Shorin-ryu, the 'small forest style'. It was a version of the Konoha based taijutsu style that had been adapted specifically for children and teenagers. It emphasised dodging and deflection with the understanding that any opponents we encountered were likely to be taller, stronger and faster than us. On the surface, it appeared to be a rather simplistic style, with limited numbers of strikes, block and kicks. Of course, given that it was being taught to children, this straightforwardness was probably more an advantage than a disadvantage. There were no flashy moves or complicated locks; things that could easily fall apart in actual combat. It was the basics of the basics, something that we could build on with our family styles, or simply once we left the academy and started gaining personal experience.
** Shiako realizes in Chapter 5 that the Academy doesn't actually say some things that people from ninja families would know due to stories from the latter. This leaves students with civilian families or orphans in a disadvantage, as they wouldn't know the "unspoken rules" of being a ninja.
---> (''about Sasuke'') I could see the 'don't get in my way' written on his face. He clearly didn't like being put on a three person team, and certainly not with Naruto. I found it interesting that he didn't seem to have expected the teams.\\
Now that I thought about it… it wasn't something that had been covered in the Academy ''explicitly''. It was just… there. Implicit in everything; ninja work in teams. Something you just knew from family, from stories. It wasn't something that you got told.\\
Which left a lot of people out in the cold, civilian kids, orphans… they'd have no idea of the 'unspoken rules'. I hadn't even realised there were any.

** The first example is when Zabuza fights Team 7. The killing intent given off by both him and Kakashi causes Shikako and Sasuke to freeze up.
