[[NightmareOnElmStreet Freddy]] comes in a close second, going from a vicious, manic child killer to a rather doting boyfriend for Damien. If [[spoiler: the Myers character who is Damien's abusive father is actually Michael Myers, however, his character was derailed just as bad as Jason, since he can now talk and apparently fathered Damien and killed her mother.]]
