* Sadie Miller is one of the few Beach City cast that doesn't get a divisive response. Being perky, helpful to Steven, occasionally getting in some of the action as the only human sans Connie to defeat a corrupted Gem on her own, and singing what's become a hit song with the fanbase with her own shyness and insecurities. Even her crush on Lars [[CharacterizationMarchesOn back when he was]] [[BaseBreakingCharacter quite polarizing]] ultimately doesn't detract from this.

Going on for as long as it has and with LoadsAndLoadsOfCharacters, it's no surprise that the fans would have some favorites.

* Shep, the first fully non-binary character in the series has gotten a lot of love, despite being a relatively minor character in the grand scheme of things. Especially with their [[NiceGuy pleasant personality]] and somewhat wholesome relationship with Sadie.

* Quite a few Gems from the ''Art & Origins'' book gained a lot of attention. Not to the extent of actually wishing they would become canon, but they received fanart, simply because some of their concepts are that interesting, but Budgerite has to be the most popular of all of them, simply because she's a NonhumanHumanoidHybrid, being part-Gem, [[BirdPeople part-Bird]]. While it's never specified how she came to be, the idea of [[ThereIsAnother another hybrid besides Steven]] fascinated many fans, especially since she's half-bird, meaning that Steven can keep his status as the only HalfHumanHybrid while still exploring the concept of other hybrids.
** As surprising as that may sound, Concrete has a fair share of fans, much like [[WesternAnimation/{{Fantasia}} Sunflower]]. She's usually depicted as an {{Adorkable}} CollectorOfTheStrange, rather than the borderline racist caricature she was originally, mostly because people wanted to distract themselves from the controversy and making fun of it or downplaying it is the only way they knew how.
** Geraldine has fans for being visually based on the Crystal Skulls from the pilot. Also for being [[HandicappedBadass blind]].
* While all the pilot versions of the Gems received fanart, Pilot!Pearl remained the most consistently popular for her unique design and vastly different personality to Present!Pearl. Some even wish for her to be made into a [[DecompositeCharacter separate character]] and maybe even [[MeetYourEarlyInstallmentWeirdness interacting with her main series counterpart]].

* Centipeetle was in demand for another appearance after her reintroduction in "Monster Buddies". Her [[UglyCute endearingly gross design]] and adorable dog-like behavior, coupled with her [[TearJerker touching sacrifice]] to protect Steven won her many fans. Helped along is that she was the first tragic element depicted onscreen that couldn't be resolved at the end of the episode, establishing the first of the show's darker storylines. Her popularity further increased after "Monster Reunion", which showcased her partially uncorrupted form and her [[DarkAndTroubledPast tragic backstory]].

* Aubergine Pearl is practically just background decoration, as she merely works as a tour guide and [[OneSceneWonder has only 10 seconds of actual screentime]]. However, her deep voice and unique design, as well as being the only Pearl who didn't either serve a Diamond, isn't part of a permafusion and actually appeared in the show itself, she quickly gained a fanbase.

* Many of the uncorrupted gems seen at the end of "Change Your Mind" are getting lots of love, to the point where many fans wish that Season 6 [[ADayInTheLimelight focuses on exploring all of these long-hidden personalities]].

** Little Larimar is so far the most popular of the more established "Little Homeworld" gems, due to her CreepyCute appearance and her [[LovesTheSoundOfScreaming bizarre fascination with screams]].

** Orange Spodumene didn't make a proper appearance outside of cameos yet, but many fans pay a lot of attention to her due to [[CuteMonsterGirl her somewhat cute design]].

* The pair of Lapis Lazulis from "Why so Blue?" received tons of attention when the opening for Steven Universe Future was first revealed and even more so when they actually appeared, the Lapis with golden freckles (dubbed both [[AllThereInTheManual Nice Lapis by the ending credits]] and [[FanNickname Freckles by the fans]]) especially for her cute appearance and {{Adorkable}} personality.

** Particularly the three former Crystal Gems, Biggs, Crazy Lace and Snowflake already got a lot of love from being first mentioned in "Bismuth". With Biggs and Snowflake getting officially revealed in "Change Your Mind" [[https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/steven-universe/images/b/ba/Change_Your_Mind_998.png/revision/latest?cb=20190208000800 alongside an uncorrupted gem that bears resemblance to a Crazy Lace Agate]], their popularity has skyrocketed.

* The yet-to-be-named fusion of Aquamarine and Eyeball became extremely popular overnight, due to being composed of two already popular villains, and there ''finally'' being another villainous fusion after Malachite's defeat in ''Season 3''.

** ''VideoGame/SaveTheLight'' gives two examples: The primary antagonists Squaridot and Hessonite. The former is beloved for being a ReplacementFlatCharacter of Peridot, simply because many fans miss Peridot's pre-HeelFaceTurn portrayal and Squaridot's presence as a villain would allow a good compromise. The latter is liked for being a KnightOfCerebus with an interesting design and powerset, also being the first example of [[FanFicFuel a pure Garnet]].
** ''The Phantom Fable'' has a few as well. Most notably being Lonely Pearl, who won quite a few fans over with her design, TearJerker backstory and [[spoiler:her possible [[OneWingedAngel corrupted form]]]]. Then there's the titular Fable herself, who is praised for being a [[TragicVillain surprisingly]] [[AntiVillain complex]] character for an app game, again, the NonStandardCharacterDesign certainly helps. Another Gem of note are the {{Mook}}s in the Amethyst area, who many fans have dubbed [[FanNickname "Ice Quartz"]]. Despite not being plot-relevant at all, they gained quite a lot of attention, for the novelty of being a new Quartz type and their [[CarryABigStick interesting weapon choice]].

* Steg, the fusion of Steven and Greg, being the first Human-Fusion since Stevonnie who has a muscular body that would put Hercules to shame, an epic pompadour that falls to his feet and four arms that he uses to play an epic rock solo made girls -- and guys -- fawn over him.
