At a time when women are constantly losing control over their bodies and facing the very real possibility of having a forced birth at least once in their lifetimes, making a joke that distracts the viewer from what is supposed to be comedic parody and brings us back to an increasingly worsening and depressing world was just plain all-around [[DudeNotFunny unfunny]]. This is a real, serious, and complicated issue that needs to be discussed, and like the ignorant sexists themselves who promote such views, Team Four Star reduced it to an insultingly childish level of simplicity, and that's just pathetic.

* Codafett: The moment Jean opened his mouth I realized that the whole cast was going to be one note jokes masquerading as characters. Mikasa is the aloof goth girl, Armin was ridiculously annoying, Thomas was just yelling all the time, Connie was a foul mouthed idiot, and Jean was a pointlessly smarmy faux-brit. True they may have all started out that way in the anime, they eventually grew out of it. That won't happen here. So yeah good luck making an actual series with such 2D interpretations.

I know that by “coconut”, that is a ShoutOut to the character Coconut Head from ''Series/NedsDeclassifiedSchoolSurvivalGuide'' (mind you, I don’t watch that show), but the word “Aryan” made me facepalm because it sounded like as if TeamFourStar is offending all the blonde-hair-blue-eyed people all over the world. My advice to TeamFourStar: Don’t be a reverse-racist!

Being a popular internet abridged group, it was only matter of time before fans of TeamFourStar would either dodge these moments or scream them out of existence.

* fluffything: Normally, TeamFourStar are great at making abridged videos. Both DragonballAbridged and HellsingUltimateAbridged are some of the funniest videos I've ever seen. Alas, I cannot say the same for their ''Manga/AttackOnTitan Abridged'' video. It is just awful. The voice acting is lazy at best, the jokes are either mean-spirited or they simply don't work or both, and they opted to simply cram several episodes into one abridged video rather than simply parodying a single episode or a small handful of episodes. There is absolutely nothing funny, charming, or likable to find in the parody. And what little effort they put into the video feels more like trying to polish a turd than any sort of actual quality. I can't help but feel like they only made this abridged video to cash in on the show's popularity and be part of the bandwagon. And, to me, that just makes things worse. I know TeamFourStar can do much better than this horrid excuse for a parody video. I know they can make much better parodies of beloved Anime shows without having to resort to such blatantly poor attempts at humor. TeamFourStar, if you ever read this, I beg you, please go back to working hard on funny videos rather than trying to do a quick cash-in on recent trends by shelling out something so terrible.
* Tropers/DrZulu2010: I concur, coming from someone who likes it. But even I have no liking to what they did to Carla AKA Eren's mother. Anyone who read the manga or watches the anime know that her death kickstart Eren's vengeful crusade against the titans. However, in the abridged version, her entire character is just a joke about her saying nothing than "Hmm Hmm". Yes! Carla's entire shtick in the whole 3 minutes of screentime is her saying "Hmm Hmm" over and over again. Come on. Faulerro's NullMetalAlchemist gave Trisha the same amount of screentime and she has more personality and more of a character than Carla. I don't expect her to be deep or well written, especially in a condensed adaptation of five episodes of the series, but TeamFourStar should know better than having her saying just "Hmm Hmm".

* Laharl230: I love TeamFourStar to death, but in my mind their DMOS is TwoSaiyansPlay. It's absolutely unfunny and filled with nothing but Vegeta and Nappa dicking around on video games and shouting profanities, which mind you they don't even bother to censor. Every single episode is absolutely obnoxious and degrading. Not to mention it's embarrassing to TFS seeing as how they're usually really witty in their Let's Plays. But TSP has nothing but Vegeta and Nappa insulting each other and making insulting gay jokes (Seriously guys? Grow up.) The biggest moment would probably the end of them playing KillingFloor. Let me ask you this TFS, is that necessary? The shouting was really freaking loud (like people next door can hear you loud) and there is absolutely no excuse for anyone to be yelling that loudly for any reason. It's just embarrassing and you can get in some serious trouble for that. The whole thing is just unnecessary and pointless to the series. TeamFourStar makes the excuse that they are trying to "expand" themselves, which is a pretty good idea but this is the absolute wrong way to do it. TeamFourStar, I know you can do better than this.

* Tropers/CharredKnight: The scene from ''WebVideo/DragonBallAbridged'' where Bulma imagines Vegeta wants to rape her, which was basically a bizarre combination of BlackComedyRape, and according to WordOfGod (by way of twitter conversation), ShipTease. There was no joke other than the fact that rape is hilarious, and the idea that anyone would have a dream of her future husband wanting to rape her isn't funny, it's just disturbing.
