!!Phoenixes
Known for being particularly passionate and emotional, Phoenixes

A Pheonix that manages to condense their emotions into a different way of activating them as well a MidSeasonUpgrade element. Each one also has it's own 'unit' within the guard, though those single burst can create lightning effects. * EnergyBeing:
* HotBlooded: Practically
a moment of pure HotBlooded passion, the owners of these stars wield the power of fire, drawing off requirement.
* PlayingWithFire: What
their owner's emotion to do so. When the wielder is skilled enough to focus magic focuses on.
* OurGeniesAreDifferent: [[spoiler: Zig-zagged. Phoenixes who've corrupted all of
their emotions to stardust into mist become large, fire based... things. These corrupted Pheonixes are called Efreet, who are a point, type of Jinn in Arabian mythology. These Efreet are almost mindless, destructive, and never good news. However, they're only called that because no one has any better of a word for what they are.]]
* ShockAndAwe: It requires quite a bit of concentration, but some Phoenixes- now known as Thunderbirds- have achieved this effect.
* ThePhoenix: It's right in the name. If they use their stardust for transmutation purposes, a guard of this type can turn into a literal one, at least for a short period of time. Some can also summon one in battle.
* Valkyries: [[spoiler: Out Valkyries
are able to wield different though. Corrupted Thunderbirds keep their humanoid form more or less unlike the power of normal Phoenixes, but otherwise suffer the same effects as them. Plus, the resulting creature has lightning as well.
* 2nd [[

Now one day, on an otherwise regular walk to school, Sadako and Madoka come across a young girl with red hair and a porcupine, who ask them if they had seen a blue star pendant somewhere. They replied no. This happened again on their way home. When Sadako came home that day, she finds a pendant matching that very description in her room. She takes it back to school that day, hoping to find the girl and return what she presumed was hers to her. However, she was nowhere to be found. What's more? As it turns out, Madoka now has one too. \\
Not a day later on the way home, and they find... something ravaging the city. Once again they find the red haired girl, and it looks like she has a star pendant as well. The girl begins to recite what seems to be some sort of oath, and the one TransformationSequence later, she's gotten to beating up the monster, seemingly with wind. Unfortunately, this has caused some collateral damage, and Saki happens to be in the way. \\
After getting Saki to a safe spot, Sadako asks to borrow Madoka's bow. The resulting shot is a direct hit right in the 'eye' of the beast. Her pendant starts glowing...

Now, Sadako is in her own MagicalGirl outfit, and discovers some useful powers had been bestowed on her. Madoka had been staring in disbelief and been praying that this was AllJustADream, and she would wake up any time now. But getting blasted off her feet by debris landing everywhere and getting a good number of cuts had convinced her, no this is all real. The moment that realization hit, Madoka's own pendant glowed, and you know the rest.
After all the girls had finished, and had transformed back, the porcupine, then running around in a panic, cried out some odd words. Something seemed to come over the regular folk, and a chorus of confusion started.
The porcupine then explained that she had removed the 'normal people's' memories of the past half an hour. She then introduced herself- Mellow- and the girl- Pallas- as well as the Celestial Guard to the girls. She also explained the blue pendants were called 'Wandering Stars', and that they were always looking for people worthy of joining the Guard. She then asks the girls to join them. Noting that it was indeed a noble cause, holding off entropy, they accepted.
