When he tries to explain the medicine to them, he only mentions that it was made with a poisonous flower causing the others to believe that he's trying to poison and kidnap her. He later offers to give some to them as well since he made enough for everyone, but they are all put off by how earnest he is.

* LovableRogue: Toni's father will occasionally give him requests to steal back treasures that other countries have illegally obtained.
** Not only just that, his whole kingdom seems to be full of these. For context, his kingdom encourages children to steal from shops in order for them to become better thieves. They also refuse to steal from the weak.

While both of their characters revolve around eating, [[BizarreTasteInFood Nepenthes will often find even the most disgusting and weird of foods delicious]], is usually larger than life and for a lack of a better word, will usually have a [[OrgasmicallyDelicious foodgasm after eating something.]] In contrast, Grad for the most part, doesn't care so much about how the food he eats tastes as much as staving off his hunger and his voice is usually deadpan. Heck, there's even a Memory Piece where Nepenthes gets angry at him for scarfing down a large amount of cupcakes without admiring the flavor.

* PeekABangs: When his bangs aren't covering both of his eyes, he will usually have these.

* VitriolicBestBuds: Lid usually gets annoyed by Tiga whenever the latter drags him into something and the two of them bicker from time to time. That being said, they're best friends and in a lot official depicting them with Sai, all three of them are just hanging out together and having fun.

* FreudianExcuse: The assassination of most of his family did not do wonders for his sanity.
