The '''[[http://yugipedia.com/wiki/Digital_Bug Digital Bug]]''' series
is a Level 7 DARK Spellcaster monster comprised of LIGHT Insect-Type monsters with 2500 ATK/2000 DEF that debuted in ''Age of Overlord''. She supports a focus on Xyz Summoning. The Main Deck monsters can grant effects when used as Xyz Materials, and is supported by the "Sinful Spoils" archetype, a group some of Spell and Trap Cards based on a variety of cursed artifacts that give Diabellstar great power. She opposes the "Snake-Eye" archetype, their Xyz Monsters are able to summon themselves using one of the many Sinful Spoils lower-Rank monsters as Xyz Material. Most of them have effects that she seeks.involve changing monsters, be it themselves or the opponent's, to Defense Position or benefit from doing so.

* AntiMagic: Diabellze of the Original Sin can stop the opponent from activating any Spells and Traps unless they were previously Set. She's also capable of targeting and destroying any two cards on the field (one for each player) if a Spell or Trap is Set to any field.
* TheBeastmaster:
** [[https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Sinful_Spoils_of_Betrayal_-_Silvera Sinful Spoils of Betrayal - Silvera]] shows Diabellstar summoning an enormous black lupine creature to attack Snake-Eyes Flamberge Dragon.
** After Snake-Eyes Populus absorbs the magical energy of Goblin's Crazy Beast, Populus [[PowerCopying gains the form of Goblin's Crazy Beast]], becoming "[[https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Snake-Eyes_Diabellstar Snake-Eyes Diabellstar]]" alongside Diabellstar herself, who now controls Populus on a leash.
* ClingyMacguffin: According to Diabellstar's concept art, the Sinful Spoils remain attached even after taking off her clothes.
* CoolMask: Diabellstar's face is half-covered by an oni-themed red mask, which is called Omen in her concept art. Said mask winds up in the hands of Diabellze alongside Snake-Eyes Poplar when she arrives to crash the party.
* DarkIsNotEvil: She is Diabellstar the '''Black''' Witch, is DARK attribute, and is a HeroWithBadPublicity who uses a collection of [[ArtifactOfDoom cursed treasures]] to defeat her foes, but she appears to be fighting for the greater good by opposing even greater threats than herself.
* DePower: Almost as soon as Snake-Eyes Poplar upgrades itself by absorbing the magical power of Goblins' Crazy Beast, Diabellze arrives and quells it using her own Sinful Spoil, causing Poplar to revert back to its base form.
* DorkKnight: Despite her rather malevolent design, whenever Diabellstar isn't "on the job", she comes off as anything but a terror, with art showing her getting exasperated at the Goblin Riders or [[ComicalNapDrool drooling in her sleep]]. Tellingly, her appearance in the ''Chronicles'' animation depicts her as such.
* FairyCompanion: Diabellstarr gains one after quelling Snake-Eyes Flamberge Dragon in the form of [[https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Snake-Eyes_Poplar Snake-Eyes Poplar]], implied to be a downgraded form of Flamberge Dragon. It subsequently gets kidnapped by the Goblin Riders when they confront her in pursuit of her bounty during the events of [[https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Snake-Eye_Dramatic_Chase Snake-Eye Dramatic Chase]], and after Diabellze intervenes in their fight she soon takes Poplar for herself.
* GameplayAndStoryIntegration: [[https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Sinful_Spoils_of_Doom_-_Rciela Sinful Spoils of Doom - Rciela]] shows Diabellstar using the eponymous artifact to destroy Snake-Eye Ash, Oak and Birch. Gameplay-wise, this is exactly what would happen if this card was played and its second effect was activated as all of these monsters have ATK lower than Diabellstar's own - even when factoring the 1100 ATK granted by their archetypal field spell - leading to their ATK being reduced to 0 followed by their destruction.
* {{Hammerspace}}: According to her concept art, Diabellstar carries around a backpack that can contain all sorts of things.
* HellBentForLeather: According to her concept art, her boots are made of leather and metallic parts.
* HeroWithBadPublicity: [[https://yugipedia.com/wiki/WANTED:_Seeker_of_Sinful_Spoils WANTED: Seeker of Sinful Spoils]] shows that Diabellstar has a wanted poster of her for an enormous sum of cash.
* LightIsNotGood: Diabellze is LIGHT-Attribute, wears almost nothing but white, and is a rival to Diabellestar at best--or an outright archenemy at worst.
* MagicKnight: In addition to fighting with dark magic, Diabellstar also wields a sword.
* MoodSwinger: According to her concept art, Diabellze has a tendency to be emotionally unstable, but when in public she suppresses it by keeping up a "good girl" facade.
* MythologyGag: Diabellstar herself shares attributes common with ace monsters used by the various ''Yu-Gi-Oh!'' anime/manga protagonists, being a Level 7 monster and sharing the common statline of 2500 ATK and 2000 DEF and opposed by an "X-Eyes Y Dragon" monster with 3000 ATK and 2500 DEF. For bonus points, she is one of only cards in the game with these attributes that is also a DARK Spellcaster, the others being the iconic Dark Magician (and its variants) and Astrograph Sorcerer.
* RedRightHand: Diabellze's Sinful Spoil, [[https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Sinful_Spoils_of_Dozing_-_Morrighan Sinful Spoils of Dozing - Morrighan]], is a massive green claw where Diabellze's right arm would be. Unlike Diabellstar's Sinful Spoils, Morrighan lacks sentience of any kind.
* SinisterScythe: [[https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Sinful_Spoils_of_Doom_-_Rciela Sinful Spoils of Doom - Rciela]] takes the form of a massive scythe that Diabellstar uses to cause immense destruction.
* WasOnceAMan: It is possibly hinted that The White Woods Extra Deck monsters would eventually turn into the Sinful Spoils in the future, judging by their names.
* WeUsedToBeFriends: When they were young, Asteria (the future Diabellstar) and Risette (the future Diabellze) used to be part of the White Woods archetype, working together at some point.
* UsedToBeASweetKid: Risette was kind to Asteria until the incident that caused them to be enemies.

* BadassAdorable: The entire archetype fits this to a tee to some degree with them starting off as cute girls with dragon ears and tails who then can under specific conditions turn into powerful dragons that are capable of winning with the right play. Parlor has her adorable cat smile whenever she shows up and Laundry is clearly this by default due to being the youngest of the Dragonmaids and is just as cute when she turns into Nudryal, her dragon form, whose rather fluffy. Laundry is moreso on the adorable side when she's a selectable buyable mate in ''VideoGame/YuGiOhMasterDuel'' (where she will cost 500 gems due to being a Deluxe Mate), where she does some rather cute poses depending on the circumstances (such as, looking around before pointing at the opponent during the coin toss, properly bowing to the opponent when the duel starts, crying and covering her eyes upon the player taking direct damage (or if a monster is destroyed), and she evens turn into the fluffy Nudyarl when the player enters battle phase and after the phase ends, turns back into Laundry who proceeds to sweep up her mate base with a broom. Laundry will strike a victory pose if the player wins a duel or wave her hands in a scared position should the player lose a duel.)

But even so, I decided on this design by [[RuleOfCool prioritizing how cool and strong it looks]], trying to approach the idea of 'the ultimate weapon that can [[KillTheGod kill even god(s)]]'. If the weapons in its claws and shoulders, the wings that wrap around it like a cloak, and so on give you that kind of feeling, then that's great.
