His Negator power, Unknown, negates his own ability to be perceived by others.

** He cheerfully lops off his own left arm in order to get Fuuko and Andy to listen to him. While he can give himself a new arm with his pen, since they can only have one drawing active at a time, the effect is temporary.
** He loses the other arm blocking a Blade Runner kick from Rip in order to protect the book Fuuko and Andy were in at the time.

* BlessedWithSuck: His ability is a compulsory activated one that erases himself from existence in the perception of others, causing him to completely disappear from everyone's sight the day it emerged. His ability makes it impossible to interact with other people since he phases right through them and his power also applies to things he's made, such as drawings and notes. The only reason his manga can be read by others is by abusing LoopholeAbuse with his pen name, and he can only interact with others [[spoiler:via an avatar double created by G-Liner.]]
* BornOfMagic: [[spoiler:The Anno Un who assists Andy and Fuuko throughout the Autumn Arc isn't the real Akira Kuno, but an avatar he made with G-Liner so he can personally interact with others.]]

He was forced to watch as she frantically cried over his disappearance despite being right next to her. * HeKnowsTooMuch: A non-fatal example. [[spoiler:Juiz and Andy theorize why Akira became [[{{Unperson}} Unknown]] the day he picked up the G-Liner was God's way to prevent him from sharing the information of the past and present he gained.]]
* IOweYouMyLife: He feels this way about Andy and Fuuko, as their story he witnessed after touching G-Liner inspired him to keep living even after his negation ability ruined his life. From his perspective, they saved his life, so he's willing to return the favor in any way he can.

* PerceptionFilter: His ability negates his own ability to be perceived, making him completely invisible to all other living creatures. While others can still remember him, he can't meaningfully interact with them as himself, and any evidence of his existence is completely undetectable. The only reason other people can read his manga is due to him using LoopholeAbuse with his pen name, and even then he's still invisible to them as a person.
* PowerCopying: Using G-Liner, he can draw others' body parts and effectively use others' powers. For example, sketching Andy's arm allows him to use Part's Bullet, while sketching one of Autumn's claws allowed him to transform Andy into a book.
* PunnyName: Anno Un's pen name rolls "anon", "unknown", and the Latin words for "year one" all in a single name.
* ReclusiveArtist: InUniverse. Nothing is known about them outside of their name and the fact that they wrote "To You, From Me," not even their gender, sex, or even their voice as they would communicate via silent phone calls and letters. It turns out to not be on purpose more so as the nature of his Negator ability making it difficult for him to interact with people.
* {{Seers}}: G-Liner granted him visions of the current time loop's past and future, giving him acute knowledge of said events that he would eventually write them into his own manga series.

The manga's story arcs reflect the real-life events that the Union have been a part of, such as the manga's "Space Soccer Club Invasion" Arc, which is a direct telling of the Acks' invasion and defeat in Chapter 20. Other major events and information, such as [[spoiler:Billy's betrayal]], also had arcs paralleling them but were omitted from the final product due to being rejected by the publisher. * YourSoulIsMine: He possesses the artifact Soul Caliber, an orb that can separate someone's soul from their body and implant it in something else. He uses this on Fuuko so that she can experience Andy's past first hand.

* EstablishingCharacterMoment: He appears out of literally nowhere just as Andy and Fuuko are reaffirming their desire to fall in love together and finally get Fuuko's Unluck to [[WhoWantsToLiveForever end his immortal existence]], fatally stabbing Fuuko in the heart with no warning and making it clear that he won't tolerate her existence, mocking Andy's anguish and making it clear that he wants nothing less than to [[HappyEndingOverride deny them both their happiness together]] before leaving. * HeroKiller: His first appearance is attempting this on Fuuko. He very nearly succeeds too, with Fuuko's soul being put into limbo.

His second appearance after fatally stabbing Fuuko has him admiring the sun underneath a parasol made by UMA Blood, before asking it to dispel his protection, stating that there must be some meaning for him being in this much pain from sunlight under the master rules imposed by God.
* ItsPersonal: Though he's usually depicted as being perpetually cheery, his actions and words make it clear that he holds a personal dislike of Fuuko for unspecified reasons, apparently relating to how she's made Andy a better person from their time together, and whilst he overall desires to see God's will done, he's personally devoted to erasing Fuuko's existence however he can. This sets him up as an effective KnightOfCerebus and devoted antagonist to both Andy and Fuuko on a personal level.
* EvilCannotComprehendGood: Words and concepts like family and friends, as well as the grief their deaths cause, mean nothing to him. At best they're just tools for him to use to his advantage, [[spoiler:like when he caused Nico to have a FaceHeelTurn by showing him the ghost of his lover through the UMA Ghost]].
