An extraterrestrial insect-like monster that unexpectedly arrives to Earth. It was believed by a germaphobic boy named Jiro to be his lost pet rhinoceros beetle sent as an ambassador by Alien Clean to take him to the alien's far less filthy and polluted home planet.

A powerful and malicious extraterrestrial wizard who uses his powers to shrink Ultraman Leo to the size of an action figure in a story inspired by the tale of Issun-boshi, the One-Inch Boy. It was in his appearance that the mighty Ultraman King made his debut to help Leo against the space wizard.

* EvilLaugh: A series of eerie cackles and giggles.

An oni-like monster from the planet Apple who enjoys eating fruit. After being chased of Apple by the planet's denizens, he comes to Earth in search of more food, and encounters opposition in the form of MAC and the son of a fruit seller named Taro nicknamed "Peach Boy" by his friends.

* BigEater: he has a huge appetite for fruit and came to Earth with the intention of eating all of the planet's fruit.

A group of amphibious aliens who come to live on Earth, only for one of their children to be harassed by a mob of suspicious fishermen. Despite efforts to fix relations between the aliens and humans by MAC, two angry Paradai merge themselves into the kaiju King Paradai in revenge.

A psychic alien who uses his immense powers to wreak havoc around Tokyo. He spends most of the episode in the form of an extremely bratty boy accompanied by his alleged mother, a mysterious woman whom Dan recognizes as [[Series/UltraSeven Anne Yuri]], only to find the lady denies she is anyone Dan knows.

A bird-like alien described as the most beautiful creature in the universe, which attracted the attention of Alien Magma, who sought to marry her. She manages to escape with Ultraman Leo's help, but is injured until a bike shop owner and his son help her, so in gratitude she takes on a human form to work at their bicycle shop and give toy pinwheels to children.

* ChekhovsGun: The pinwheels she made for the children, one of which Leo stabbed Magma with, killing him.

* NonMaliciousMonster: All she wanted was for Alien Magma to leave her alone. She returned the kindness of humans and loved children.

An insectoid alien who disguises himself as an elderly florist with the intent of making Earth a prettier place through his sleep-inducing flowers. He also has a mysterious rivalry with a tiny woman known as the White Flower Fairy who Kaoru encounters.

A monster from the Moon who comes to Earth to pick up a young lady named Kaguya who does not realize she's actually the princess of the Moon. However, Kaguya is reluctant to part with her Earth family, and even Gen doesn't believe Kirara should take the princess back home.

A demon-like alien who arrives on Earth in the form of a giant floating eyeball, causing all sorts of disturbing supernatural happenings around an apartment ground with his mere presence. Alien Akumania has become a bit of an EnsembleDarkhorse since then, earning it a few reappearances like in ''Series/UltramanGinga S''.

A two-faced demon-like monster that attacked [[Series/ReturnOfUltraman Ultraman Jack]] while he was on his way to give Sevengar to Dan and take the Ultra Eye back to M78. Ashuran uses its powers to create a muzzle around Jack that remains when he becomes Hideki Goh, preventing Jack from speaking.

* MeaningfulName: Ashuran's name is derived from "Asura", a class of demons in Indian mythology that are sometimes portrayed with multiple faces.

A robotic [[Series/UltraSeven Capsule Monster]] that Ultraman Jack intended to give to Dan as something to assist Ultraman Leo while Jack took the Ultra Eye back to the Land of Light for repairs.

A mischievous alien child sealed inside a jar by his parents for his misbehavior and poor grades in school. He eventually arrives on Earth, where befriends a boy with an equally poor performance at school named Miyasaka, "the Monster General", and causes a lot of trouble.

A sinister alien who takes the form of an astronaut named Uchida who, unbeknownst to everyone but Gen and Dan, was killed when he landed on Atlanta's homeworld. He joined MAC in his human disguise, intending to plant a bomb in the MAC base to assassinate Uchida's fiance's father -- the supreme commande rof MAC.

An alien who resides in the mirror world, stepping out to capture Kaoru to replace her own lost daughter by impersonating the girl's deceased mother while she sending out her monster Specter to ravage the real world.

* MirrorMonster: Unlike most seijins, Mazaras isn't the name of her homeworld. She lives in the mirror realm instead.

Alien Mazaras' monster minion, who she sends into the real world to ravage Tokyo while she battles Ultraman Leo and holds Kaoru hostage in the mirror world.

One of the most wicked aliens in the universe, Alien Babalou transformed himself into the likeness of Astra to steal the Ultra Key, the device that keeps the Land of Light in orbit, before coming to Earth. The result was that [[Series/{{Ultraman}} Ultraman, Zoffy,]] [[Series/ReturnOfUltraman Ultraman Jack,]] and Series/UltramanAce branded Astra a traitor, which led to a vicious battle between the Leo Brothers and the Ultra Brothers while the Ultra homeworld was sent on a collision course with Earth.

* {{Jerkass}}: Babalou is cruel, aggressive, arrogant, and manipulative. He delights in the distrust and prejudice he creates in his disguises, even going as far as to use Leo's feelings for his brother to deceive him into battling the Ultra Brothers.

Commander Black is the BigBad for the final twelve episodes of the show, calling forth his minions from a sentient planet called the Black Star.

The fourth Flying Saucer Beast. Deemos spends most of its episode as multiple tiny individuals attacking innocents for their blood as a warning from Commander Black to Gen that if he does not surrender, every last human will be killed.

* HollywoodAcid: Spits acid from its midsection that is able to dissolve a human in seconds.

The fifth Flying Saucer Beast called forth from the Black Star. Black Garon arrives on Earth disguised as a meteorite to hide itself from Ultraman Leo and be taken in by an unwitting scientist until the time is right to strike.

The sixth Flying Saucer Beast, the two-faced Blizzard spends most of its episode in the form of a small girl named Mayuko who carries about a doll that breathes freezing gas in order to attack scientists trying to study the Black Star.

The seventh Flying Saucer Beast summoned to Earth. Hangler attacked cars by disguising itself as a tunnel with a strangely-placed traffic light in order to devour drivers and their vehicles under the cover of night.

The eighth Flying Saucer Beast. Black Terrina initiates its assault by sending small versions of itself resembling normal but beautiful seashells, which were then unwittingly distributed by a little girl named Mariko, upon which they attacked people.

The ninth Flying Saucer Beast to attack Earth. Satan Moa launched its assault on Tokyo by spawning tiny versions of itself to peck people to death while it attempted to use its beak to knock down a skyscraper full of people .

The tenth Flying Saucer Beast that Commander Black summons. Nova disguised itself as a red TeruTeruBozu, letting itself be discovered by Tooru before taking control of him to create illusions of his deceased family for him and spraying insanity gas at all who approached.

Noted as one of the most bizarre {{kaiju}} ever made for the ''Franchise/UltraSeries'', Nova has made several other appearances in the franchise. Nova is one of the very few ''Series/UltramanLeo'' kaiju (rather than seijin) that the producers have ever brought back with notable reappearances including ''Series/UltramanMebius'' and ''Series/UltramanOrb''.

An alien mercenary hired by Commander Black when he was down to his last Flying Saucer Beast. Although Commander Black was initially unimpressed by the alien's goofy mannerisms, Bunyo had a foolproof plan to defeat Ultraman Leo, soon proving himself to be one of the hero's most deadly foes.

The last and mightiest of the Flying Saucer Beasts to be summoned to Earth. Commander Black wanted the dragon-like beast to defeat Ultraman Leo above all else, while the Black Star followed close behind...

* {{Cephalothorax}}: Black Head is pretty much a little head on a big body with legs and a tail.

Alien Magma has appeared several more times in the ''Franchise/UltraSeries'', due to being one of Ultraman Leo's most popular and iconic enemies. The hairstyle, eye colour, and weaponry have also changed a number of times over the course of the franchise.

* AbhorrentAdmirer: To Rolan in "The Monster's Favor"
* {{Archenemy}}: To Ultraman Leo for destroying his homeworld at the start of the series.

* HandBlast: Can fire a variety of energy bolts from his hands, including a blue laser and finger bolts. One of those atttacks, and not necessarily the broken leg, may have crippled Ultraseven.

* KarmicDeath: Leo killed Magma with one of Rolan's pinwheels, made from her feathers.

Alien Magma's twin monster lackeys, who specialize in creating devastating floods and using tag team abilities, which Gen had to train against. They also successfully crippled Series/{{Ultraseven}} at the start of the series.

A ruthless swordsman from outer space who murders Tooru and Kaoru's father, bringing them under the care of Gen and Momoko. Gen had to train against the alien's deadly wrist blades that grant him his lethal swordsmanship skills.

An extraterrestrial monster with the ability to hurl its horn like a boomerang. Naturally, Gen had to train hard in order to find a way to counter Kanedoras' skills with its boomerang horn.

A murderous alien with massive shoulder spikes which he uses to successfully kill several members of MAC. It was exactly for this reason that Gen needed to train himself to overcome the alien's weapons.

A strange alien monster that spawned a dangerous flower which Kaoru took care of. It used the flower to gain the ability to hurl shuriken-like petals from its body, which was what Gen needed to train himself against for the episode.

A monster whose AchillesHeel is its back and is smart enough to make sure that its enemies will never be able hit it from behind. Gen had to train himself to find a way to be able to get behind Vekira and strike its weak spot.

A friendly alien who came to Earth to enjoy its sights, befriending Tooru along the way. Unfortunately, his friendship with the boy was met with suspicion by MAC, and Dan forced Gen to train against the alien's ability to create hindering foam from its antennae.

Leo's pet back on L77 before it was destroyed. Unfortunately, Ron became a giant murderous beast from the grief of being abandoned by his owner, eventually making its way to Earth where Gen was deeply reluctant to kill his former companion.

A vicious alien thug who kills the uncle and aunt of Ichiro Matsumoto, one of the boys at Gen's sports facility. The shame of failing to save the kid's family and his inability to overcome the alien's superhuman strength and speed led Gen to once again go through TrainingFromHell.

A monster whose only interest is finding fun things to do. Bango particularly enjoys imitating anything it finds funny, particularly the antics of MAC"s newest team member, an eccentric adventurer from Africa named Saburo Sato.

A bloodthirsty alien invader with the ability to vibrate his body at such speeds that he is rendered invisible. Naturally, Gen had to figure out how to train against an enemy that he could not see.

A scorpion-like monster able to shapeshift into a young and hotheaded human martial artist with a secret invisible stinger technique. The agonizing pain of the invisible stinger was exactly what Gen had to train against for the episode.

* ArrogantKungFuGuy: Uses his human form to attack and humiliate martial artists.
* BewareMyStingerTail: Being a scorpion kaiju, Antales uses his claw-like stinger tail in combat. In his human form, the tail is invisible allowing him to still use it. It was also the ability Gen had to train against.

* OffWithHisHead: [[spoiler:Leo defeat Antales by ripping of his stinger and using it slice off the monster's head.]]

* PowerPincers: Being a martial artist scorpion monster, he uses them to block his enemies' punches and kicks.
* ScaryScorpions: Japanese books state that he hails from the constellation of Scorpius too!
* VoluntaryShapeshifting: Takes on the form of a young martial artist in order to challenge Gen in face-to-face combat.

An evil alien with the ability to create illusory duplicates of himself. Gen, of course, had to train against this confusion-inducing technique by seeking the help of a blind martial artist.

A wicked alien who shapeshifts into a pretty young woman in white to lure humans to their deaths. She relies on the power of a deadly flower from her homeworld known as the Black Orchid, which encases her victims in silver.

A werewolf-like alien that can possess humans, forcing his victims to transform into him every night. He takes over the body of a gymnast named Saeko that Gen's friend Takeshi is dating, gaining her superb reflexes in order to defeat Ultraman Leo.

One of a species of extraterrestrial vampire bats that were exterminated by MAC. As the sole survivor of MAC's attack, she disguises herself as an injured young woman and is taken in by Momoko and Kaoru, then using the opportunity to search for blood to drink.

A fish-like alien who has been terrorizing a fishing village in Hokkaido for a century. It happened to be that Gen, Momoko, and the kids were vacationing in that exact village, soon bringing the fearful villagers' story of a sea monster to the attention of MAC.

A young friend of Dan Moroboshi from the constellation of Ursa Minor who came to Hokkaido when his mother was murdered by Dogyuh. He takes on the form of a human boy and is accompanied by a pair of orphaned bear cubs.

* BearyFriendly: A little boy from the constellation of Ursa Minor and gets along swimmingly with both Dan and Gen. He also has his pair of orphaned bear cubs, who cares for a lot.

* YouKilledMyFather: In this case, Dogyuh killed his mother. Thus he comes to Earth to ask for help from his friend Ultraseven.

A brutal alien from the constellation of Taurus who came to Hokkaido in pursuit of Bock after murdering the bear-boy's mother. He spends most of the episode in the form of a burly bear hunter.

* HateSink: He killed Bock's mother and hunted the child all the way to planet earth, and framed Bock for killing of livestocks as well as manipulating an entire village to hunt down the child. Every action from this scumbag of an alien is a massive KickTheDog moment, from being a bully to killing a little bear cub and being nasty in general.
* {{Jerkass}}: He's a bullying brute all around, and even tries to incite some local villagers against Bock by accusing him of being an evil invader.

* WouldHurtAChild: Duh. His goal was to kill Bock, after all. He also kills one of Bock's pet bear cubs.

One of a race of benevolent aliens who send a secret visitor to Earth under the title of Nike, Goddess of Victory every four years to bless one virtuous human with good luck. Unfortunately, she's being pursued by the evil Alien Northsatan, but turns to MAC for help and to find her former lover, an Olympic athlete-turned-MAC officer named Kitayama.

A needle-spitting alien bounty hunter going after Alien Alpha Nike for a massive price that more malevolent forces had placed on the Goddess of Victory's head.

A pair of monster brothers with Gallon being the older of the two. It is during their battle with Ultraman Leo that the hero's thought-to-be-deceased brother Astra makes his debut.

* PunnyName: On the measurement for liquids, with Gallon being the older brother because gallons are the larger measurement.

A child-like alien who spends most of his time resting on a spacefaring bed, but one day, he fell out and landed on Earth, where he befriended Tooru and Kaoru. However, he ends up causing a lot of trouble, especially when he summons his pet monster Renbolar to show off to the kids.

Coro's pet monster, which he controls through his tail. Unfortunately, when of Tooru's friends pulls on Coro's tail too hard, yanking it off, Renbolar goes berserk!

* EverythingsBetterWithRainbows: Can ''[[BeyondTheImpossible consume rainbows]]'' to increase his strength.

Professor Dodole's granddaughter who flees with her father to Earth to escape a robot rebellion on their homeworld. A romance begins to flourish between her and Gen on Earth, but when Gamelot arrives, it turns out Carolyn is not what she seems.

The vanguard of the robot revolution in Virgo that killed off Professor Dodole and Carolyn's species, Gamelot was sent to Earth by the other robots of Virgo in search of the survivors.

An alien janitor who only appears in the dreams of a hypochondriac boy named Jiro, who desires to live as far away as possible from Earth pollution. Alien Clean tells him that he cane come to his world, which has no filth or pollution and is where Jiro's disappeared pet tortoise and rhinoceros beetle are supposedly living.

* HumanAliens: It's implied Alien Clean doesn't actually exist and was just part of Jiro's dream, thus no actual connection to Satan Beetle. However, the episode is kinda confusing on the whole, so it's completely possible there really was an Alien Clean fooling him through dreams and had actually sent Satan Beetle to Earth to destroy humanity.
