* CloningBlues: An inversion of this trope since he is the original Roy Harper. Unlike in ''Invasion'', where he was okay with his clone and grateful for his rescue, here, he's much more hostile toward him. This is justified, as everyone on the Team hoped that he would turn out more like his own doppelganger, so he got fed up with constantly being compared to his double.

* MoralEventHorizon[[invoked]]: When Nightwing confronts him before he can kill the Joker, he warns him not to cross this line. Jason is aware that there's no going back from this, and he doesn't care.

They also have a willingness to commit illegal activities such as theft if it means achieving their goals.

* DarkIsNotEvil: Some of their members have dark coloring (particularly Red X, Arsenal, and ''especially'' Raven) and all of them are ruthless in their dispatch of crime, but they are ultimately heroes who protect the innocent and are working to stop a malevolent GalacticConqueror.
