* CloudCuckoolander: No has quite a few moments like this. For example, instead of asking Mayor Nathan if they can look through the town archives like a normal person, they instead, in quick succession: ask permission to browse the archives, then ask if Nathan had ever heard of Elise, and ''then'' if he had ever heard of {{Franchise/Homestuck}}, before immediately [[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventure doing a intimidating Jojo pose]] while they wait for his answer.
* EatDirtCheap: [[SubvertedTrope Subverted]] -- in order to attempt to raise their horticulture stat, No decides to eat dirt for breakfast one morning. Not only does it not work, they lose a little bit of health for doing so.

* SkewedPriorities: Finding a letter to Elise that they don't remember writing to find out more about what they've forgotten ''is'' rather important.. but so is properly checking out the books that they "borrowed" at the library. Or [[spoiler: raiding Darrell's fridge completely clean in the midst of a break-and-enter ''before'' searching for the above-mentioned letter in his house.]]

* RetGone: Implied to have happened to her, according to [[spoiler: the Home Depot God.]]
* StealthPun: Her full name is Elise Where, which is very similar to "else where" -- very fitting for a woman who has gone missing from the town [[spoiler: and reality itself]].

! Residents of Nowhere

* HorrorHunger: No first runs into Noah at the 7/11, where he is seen eating the cashier whole. [[spoiler: He later explains to No that he is cursed to have "an unceasing hunger", and the cashier (who is a zombie named Justin) and Noah have an agreement to help him stave it off.]]

* OurZombiesAreDifferent: Justin appears to be already dead, but he just can't stay ''gone''. Every time [[spoiler: Noah eats him in order to sate his HorrorHunger,]] he just shows back up at the 7/11 he works at a few days later.

* PoliceAreUseless: He's the only police officer in Nowhere's police department, and instead of investigating the growing number of people going missing from town, he instead [[spoiler: detains No, who is ''actually'' trying to look for missing people, on the suspicion that they broke into Darrell's house (true) and robbed the bank (false).]]
** [[JustifiedTrope Justified]] by the fact that he's likely under the same memory-altering effect that affects everybody else in town, and also the fact that [[spoiler: No ''did'' actually commit one of the crimes he books them for.]] Either way, he's still a force standing between No and their investigation.

* GrumpyOldMan

* RetGone: [[spoiler: When No gets home the first Thursday night, they can't seem to recall who owns the motel, and assumes it was abandoned when they arrived in town -- despite the fact that they just paid rent to Christopher that very morning, which they also don't recall.]]

* SoulSuckingRetailJob: His job at Randall's is likely this for him, especially since No Where came to town. He's the only person ([[RetGone that he remembers, perhaps]]) who works there, and has to put up with the Home Depot cult harassing him, Mary constantly trying to sell people tea despite not working there, and No's general antics.

* CloudCuckoolander: Have a habit of repeating "Home Depot: (incorrect slogan)" when asked questions. Or just whenever, really.

* ScaryLibrarian: Kevin is not above stalking No to their home and tearing apart their motel room -- looking for books they "borrowed" without properly checking out -- while screaming "WHERE IS IT?". According to Roger the Orc Cop and the City Hall archives, [[spoiler: this is not the first time Kevin has done this.]]

* BlueAndOrangeMorality: In order to help No investigate the disappearances, it asks them to [[spoiler: break into Darrell's house in order to retrieve a letter they supposedly sent.]] It's not that the Home Depot God doesn't care about committing crimes, but that it doesn't quite understand the concept of legality and crime in the first place. It also doesn't understand the concept of money, but gives No a bunch anyways, [[spoiler: at the cost of accidentally framing them for a bank robbery -- the same day it asked them to break into Darrell's house.]]
* CosmicEntity: It has the (limited) ability to see the going-ons of Nowhere, comprehend things that regular people cannot, and [[spoiler: can manipulate space and/or time enough to save No from being [[RetGone killed]] by the Sewer Creature.]]
* EldritchAbomination: It is depicted on-screen as a bunch of flashing, incomprehensible shapes, and it speaks in a glitchy voice that makes it hard to understand sometimes.
* TheOmniscient: [[ZigZaggingTrope Zig-zagged,]] in that it knows almost everything that goes on within the town [[spoiler: and can manipulate time]], but it doesn't comprehend human creations such as money or crimes, nor does it entirely know what is causing the disappearances or the mirror-blood, which is why it reaches out to No for help.
