* KickTheSonOfABitch:
** In the fourth loop, he kills Jaralis for attempting to have Naofumi gang-raped.
** He also disintegrates Malty.
** Later in said loop, he killed Balmus.
** In the fifth loop, he kills Mald to prevent him from killing Itsuki again.

* EatTheDog: When Kiel joins the party, Kou repeatedly tries to eat the canine demi-human until Naofumi manages to scare some sense into him.

* ForWantOfANail:

** In the fourth loop, he kills Jaralis for attempting to have Naofumi gangraped.

* MurderIsTheBestSolution: His immediate answer to any problem he encounters is suggest murdering everyone who might threaten him and Naofumi. Thankfully, Naofumi always talks him out of it.

* PervertDad: He tries to peep at his Filolial Queens in the hot springs to, according to him, [[InsaneTrollLogic teach them about modesty and make them more attractive as any father should.]]

* PsychoSidekick: Naofumi has to constantly remind Motoyasu that they can't just go around killing anyone who can be a threat to them. If it wasn't for that, Motoyasu wouldn't mind to destroy any and all kingdoms if that means no one can hurt Naofumi anymore.
* RippleEffectProofMemory: {{Downplayed|Trope}}. Motoyasu travels back in time to the beginning of the story when he and the other heroes were summoned. He does retain basic knowledge of the original timeline, but his memory gets fuzzy whenever he tries to remember the details. It took him a little while to even recognize Naofumi as Filo's owner.

* IOweYouMyLife: He feels grateful to Motoyasu because without his great help, Naofumi would have been murdered early in the new timeline.
* KidWithTheLeash: The only reason why Motoyasu doesn't kill all enemies in his path is because Naofumi tells him to not do it and Motoyasu can't go against the wishes of his "father-in-law".

* CoolBigSis: In Loop 5, Sakura befriends Melty and they become so close that the princess says Sakura is like the kind older sister she always wished she had.

* {{Foil}}: To Filo. Both are Filolials assigned [[spoiler: and in certain loops raised and owned]] by Naofumi and are deeply loyal to him. While Filo is very energetic and sometimes disobedient though Sakura is extremely lazy and follows every order Naofumi gives her to the T.
* RedHeadInGreen: Pink-haired variant. Sakura has pink hair in her human form and Motoyasu gives her green clothes for her to wear.

* HimeCut: She's a thoroughbred Filolial hatched out of the premium egg. Her human form has blunt bangs, bra strap length sidelocks, and waist length straight hair.

* EatTheDog: When Kiel joins the party, Kou repeatedly tries to eat the canine demi-human until Naofumi manages to knock some sense into him.

* AdaptationalEarlyAppearance: Appears a lot earlier in the spin-off than the main series.

In the loops where Naofumi raises her directly instead of having Motoyasu do it, she grows into a young woman instead of a young child when gaining a human form. Motoyasu is very surprised, especially since all other Filolials look like children in their human form.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: In Loop 5, Sakura essentially is Raphtalia's replacement in Naofumi's party because she has an older human form and even becomes a swordswoman like Raphtalia in the main series.
