* WeaponOfChoice: Unlike the other Masters who wield a staff. Levare is the only one who chooses to wield a sword instead of a staff.

* HumanPopsicle: Apart from Aster, the other six get sent through a portal to a world that is cold enough that it basically turns them into human ice sculptures.

* YouRemindMeOfX: While talking with Aster about releasing the Kahvi, despite Aster saying that they shouldn't, Talon tells him that she's not doing any plan that involves saving the Kahvi. Aster then tells her that she reminds him of someone who died 1,000 years before she was born.

* HeroicSuicide: After realizes his death is necessary to stop the other Masters, Aster lets Talon kill him willingly.

* FemininityFailure: Gwynn tried to bring out Talon's girly side by burning her clothes and putting her in a dress. Needless to say, that would be the last time she would wear one.

* HatesWearingDresses: Talon is only persuaded to wear one once, and then never again ([[FemininityFailure it didn't work for her]]).

* YouAreNumberSix: He quite literally has no name at first, he just says that he's "313". Later, after turning to the good guys' side, Wren suggests "Marvin" as a name for him. He accepts this.

* OhCrap: During a BigDamnHero moment of hers to help a fleeing Talon and injured Zed, she fires an arrow at Vorta [[ArrowCatch which she stops with telekinesis powers]] and fires it back at Luna. It's at this moment she figured that now would be a good time to start running.

* FamousAncestor: All Blackbloods are apparently descendants of Aster, who's union with a human woman created the first Blackbloods.

* HealingFactor: Her kinj also apparently lets her heal severed body parts, such as when she restored Tera's detached hand.
* LifeDrain: Her kinj allows her to drain the life out of mortals, which she can then use to bring the dead back to life if she's drained enough life force.

* PinnedToTheWall: In a fight with Zed, he ends up getting backed up against a tree then Zed [[ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice Impales him with Extreme Prejudice]], pinning him against the tree, effectively immobilizing him. Levare later comes by and frees him.
* TouchOfDeath: His kinj, also known as the "black kinj", allows him to kill anything he touches. He does this to Two, Falista, Tobin and Nedra.
