-> ''"The turtles must be eliminated from all places."''

A race of malevolent brain-like creatures from another dimension, they've been abducting and recruiting human scientists to help them modify their mutagen, which they plan on altering the Earth's atmopshere with.
* AliensAreBastards: They want to invade our planet, and remake to their liking, and don't care how many of us they have to torture or kill.
* AlienInvasion: [[spoiler: Which comes to a head in the season 1 finale]]
* AllThereInTheManual: The UK TMNT comics call the Kraang disguises "Normans". There's a quick reference to this in "The Kraang Conspiracy" when a TCRI keycard is shown to have the name "Norman Kraangenhoffer" on it.
* AlwaysChaoticEvil[=/=]AliensAreBastards: Just about every single Kraang shown so far is an enemy of the Turtles.
* AxCrazy: In the "Kraang Conspiracy" they attempt to collect DNA from April with a very large needle to the head April nervously asks if if they could just use a bit of her hair they say it would work but this way is more entertaining.
* BayonetYa: Though rarely used, a good many of their laserguns feature chainsaw-like bayonets not unlike the ones from ''GearsOfWar''.
* BigBadEnsemble: With the Shredder. Although, they have much more prominent role than the Shredder, being more dangerous than him and his Foot Clan and being directly or indirectly responsible for everything that happens in the series, making them ''the'' BigBad for the entire first season and overall main villains in the series.
* CannonFodder: The basic Kraang droids are pathetically easy to beat, and readily fall against not just the Turtles, but also every other character who's ever gone up against them...[[IdiotHero except]] [[FailureHero the Pulverizer]].
* ColdBloodedTorture: To Leatherhead, to the extent that just the mere mention of their name sends him into an UnstoppableRage.
* CompositeCharacter: The Kraang combine the name of Krang from the original cartoon with elements of the 1984 comic/2003 cartoon's Utroms, such as their robotic human disguises.
* ConservationOfNinjitsu: Avoided in the first two episodes, where they do fairly well against the Turtles, though this might be because the Turtles hadn't quite learned how to work together yet. Later episodes play it straight, with several Kraang troopers not being able to cause much damage, but when they bring out Traag or a spaceship designed specifically to kill them, they are much more difficult to overcome.
* DepartmentOfRedundancyDepartment: They all talk like this.
-->"This place is a place that you are not allowed to be in this place."
** Shredder lampshades this in "Karai's Vendetta"
-->'''Shredder''': Do they all talk like that?
* DittoAliens: All Kraang aside from their much larger ruler look the same.
* BadassInANiceSuit: In their human disguises.
* DullSurprise: Their human disguises are as monotonous as their speech pattern.
* EatenAlive: [[spoiler: The fate of any Kraang that comes across the "Newtralizer"]].
* FamilyFriendlyFirearms: The Kraang all fight using laser blasters. Justified because they're aliens from another dimension.
* HiveMind: They appear to be this, as they all act identically and each refers to themselves as "Kraang".
* HughMann: When they are using their robots to appear human, and the UK TMNT comics even call them "Normans".
* ImperialStormtrooperMarksmanshipAcademy: Standard for TMNT, they can never hit a damn thing. They do manage to hit Leatherhead and the Spy-Roach, but they prove [[ImmuneToBullets immune]].
* JetPack: Some of them wear them in "The Pulverizer" and "Cockroach Terminator"
* MechaMooks: Courtesy of their exosuits.
* MobileSuitHuman: Since the Kraang don't look human they use these to blend in.
* StarterVillain: Though they differ from other examples in that they are also the BigBad.
* {{Technopath}}: One took over Metalhead, though it was probably only due to it being derived from their technology.
* ThirdPersonPerson:
--> '''Kraang:''' Give to Kraang the power cell that Kraang has come to demand that you give to Kraang!
--> '''Michelangelo:''' It's the Kraang!
* VillainExitStageLeft: They're surprisingly quick on their tendrils when it comes time to jump ship.
* VillainsOutShopping: Two Kraang's have a conversation about a gluten free diet making one of their member thinner.
* VillainTeamUp: [[spoiler:It appears that they and Shredder will be doing this against the Turtles now that they've realized how much of a problem they are to both. They do so during the last episodes of Season 1. Shredder captures April to lure Splinter into a trap, and then hands her over to them when he succeeds in doing so.]]
* TheVoiceless: Outside of their robo-suits, the Kraang seem to only be able to speak in shrieks and snarls.
* ZergRush: It seldom helps them though.

[[quoteright:150:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kraang_prime_5687.png]]
-> ''"Like all Kraang, I am Kraang. But you can call me Kraang."''

Leader of the Kraang and mastermind of their invasion force.
* AlienInvasion: Leads a full-fledged Kraang invasion in the season one finale.
* AmbiguousGender: Not only do Kraang not really have defining gender characteristics, it's VoiceOfTheLegion seems to contain both a male AND female voice.
* AttackOfTheFiftyFootWhatever: ''Much'' larger than a standard Kraang. This goes double for its robotic body.
* BiggerBad: Kraang Prime was behind everything that the Kraang did throughout the series, but wasn't directly mentioned or didn't actually appear until the finale.
* CombatTentacles: Its MobileSuitHuman has these.
* DepartmentOfRedundancyDepartment: Kraang Prime speaks without the aid of his exo-suit and does so in a much less redundant way than his minions. He even refers to himself in the singular, specifically naming himself 'Krang'. He does, however, occasionally slip into the redundant habit of his lessers. Unlike them, it isn't humorous.
-->'''Kraang Prime''': The invasion that is known as the invasion of Earth begins...'''now'''.
* ExoticEyeDesigns: It's retinas are vaguely star-shaped.
* HiveQueen: Since the Kraang seem to have a hive mind and she is clearly in charge of them.
* LargeAndInCharge: The largest of all the Kraang so far.
* LargeHam: Prime speaks ''much'' more dramatically than any other Kraang in the series, possibly in part because it speaks directly instead of through a robotic suit.
* MobileSuitHuman: Though much less humanoid than the Kraangdroids.
* MoreTeethThanTheOsmondFamily: More obvious than most Kraang since her mouth is much bigger.
* NeverSayDie: Averted.
-->'''Kraang Prime''': [[PrepareToDie All of you will]] '''[[PrepareToDie die]]''' [[PrepareToDie here!]]
* OneWingedAngel: Appears to be stationary and stuck in a hole in the wall, but after the Turtles foil its initial plans, it rips its way out to reveal its towering robotic body.
* PromotionToOpeningTitles: Appears in the RoguesGallery section of the new season 2 opening.
* SmugSnake: She is very smug and arrogant.
* ThirdPersonPerson: Like most Kraang.
* VoiceOfTheLegion: Sounds like at least two different voices saying the same lines.

!! Mrs. Campbell
-> Voiced by [[Creator/ElviraMistressOfTheDark Cassandra Peterson]].
[[quoteright:150:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/TMNT_Alien_Agenda_032_410.png]]
A research scientist from the World Wide Genome Project who takes a particular interest in April. She's really a Kraang-droid, minus the Kraang.

* ArmCannon: She can shoot missiles out of her ''elbows''.
* BackForTheFinale: Seen reinforcing Kraang Droids guarding TCRI in the season 1 finale.
* HotScientist: Well she is supposed to be a scientist at least.
* ImplacableMan: Like most robots in fiction.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: She throws razor sharp sheets of "paper" from her clipboard.
* NeverMessWithGranny: She appears to be based on a older human than most Kraang-Droids.
* PaperMaster: In one of the few scenes where she was fighting.
* PromotionToOpeningTitles: Appears in the RoguesGallery section of the new season 2 opening.
* SuperPoweredRobotMeterMaid: The Kraang really pulled out all the stops with her.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Like most robots in fiction her eyes do end up turning red.
* RobotGirl: And an older robotic woman at that.

!! Traag

[[quoteright:185:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/185px-S01E17_Traag_1249.png]]
A rock titan from Dimension X. [[spoiler: The Kraang summon him in "[[Recap/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles2012S1E17TCRI TCRI]]" as part of their takeover of earth, and he fights the Turtles before being sent back to Dimension X by Leatherhead.]]

* AdaptationalBadass: Traag in the 80s cartoon was little more than a rock soldier with a name. Traag here is 20 ft Tall, spews out lava, and can pull himself together after being blown up.
* AnArmAndALeg: [[spoiler: Leonardo blasts all of his limbs off in the season 1 finale, but he's able to call them back to him.]]
* ArchEnemy: Seems to be this to Leatherhead, given the latter's reaction when he sees him in "TCRI."
* BackForTheFinale: [[spoiler: The Kraang bring him back for the season one finale.]]
* ConvectionSchmonvection: He's a towering MagmaMan, and yet the Turtles and Leatherhead are able to touch and attack him without getting burned.
* DishingOutDirt: He is a rock titan/golem like creature in addition to his fire abilities
* HealingFactor: He's able to literally pull himself back together is he loses a limb.
* ImplacableMan: Traag is so large and sturdy that the Turtles' attacks merely bounce off of him. [[spoiler: Even dynamite fails to harm him for long]].
* KilledOffForReal: [[spoiler: Possibly in the Season 1 finale when Leonardo destroys TCRI but it's not clear]]
* MagmaMan: TronLines of magma cross over his body and limbs, as well as giving him GlowingEyesOfDoom and a ThroatLight.
* OurGiantsAreBigger: Traag is a ''lot'' bigger in this continuity. WordOfGod states that he's 20 feet tall.
* PlayingWithFire: Traag can spit a stream of lava from his mouth.
* TheSpeechless: He does have some impressive roars, though.

!!The Sea Monster
[[quoteright:145:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sea_monster-w145-h275_4677.png]]

A huge aquatic beast the Kraang brought from Dimension X to guard their underwater base/Kraang-water production facility. The Turtles distract it to enter the base, but have to fight it to escape.

* AttackOfTheFiftyFootWhatever: Its head alone is as tall as Donatello, to say nothing of its length and width. The creature's entire body is longer than the Turtle Sub and just as tall back-to-belly, but it's not as thick.
* DistractedByTheSexy: The beast is quite attracted to the Turtle Sub, which saves the Turtles' lives.
* LoveHurts: When Leonardo releases explosive charges to get the creature to release the Turtle Sub, it has a very sad expression as the Sub escapes into the distance.
* MadeOfIron: Shrugs off both the explosion of the Kraang base and the Turtles' explosive charges with nary a scratch.
* TheSpeechless: Being an animal, it never utters a word.
* StockNessMonster: The creature has the same body style as most reports of Nessie, with a humped back and swan-like neck. Its flippers are more paw-like though, with rounded ends and short claws. It also has two tendrils dangling from its lower jaw.
* StockSoundEffect: When holding the Turtle Sub, the creature makes humpback whale and orca calls.
