* SamusIsAGirl: At the end of "Notes from the Underground, Part 3", Quarry is the first "cured" mutant and the Turtles discover that he is a girl.
* SuddenlySpeaking: During the entirety of "Notes from the Underground, Part 1" and the first half of Part 2, he remains silent, up until he realizes that the Turtles are not their enemies.

* WallCrawl: He's able to craw the walls of the caverns, though that isn't exclusive to him.

The cry comes from when Mikey was training him and told him to say "Gorogoro-sama!" (translation: Lord Thunder). But since Casey couldn't pronounce it correctly, he made his famous phrase "Goongala!".

Most of the time, his name has been said as if the G in his name would be pronounced with a "J", thus making his nickname sound like "Jen". In "Samurai Tourist", the G was pronounced correctly, but the U in his name was turned into a long U. His nickname is again pronounced like "Jen" by Usagi in "Wedding Bells and Bytes".
