* GenderBlenderName: Mikaela is a name that is more often given to girls.

* SpockSpeak: Mika [[TheQuietOne talks very little]] after being turned into a vampire, doesn't start a conversation unless being spoken to, and more often than not ignores all of Lacus' attempt to talk to him. When he ''does'' answer, he tends to speak cryptically and not more than what the question requires of him.

* AffectionateNickname: Is called "Mika" by Yuu. On the other hand, he's always called Yuu "Yuu-''[[UsefulNotes/JapaneseHonorifics chan]]'' ever since they first met, and he's notably the only one to do so at this time.

* GivingUpTheGhost: In the first Omake for season two, when he asks Krul to tell him why she wants the Seraph of the End, she whispers into his ear. However, she's literally just saying "whisper, whisper", making Mika asks her to repeat herself. About the third time he asks her to repeat, she whispers, "Did you know that Yūichirō is actually a —" followed by a long censored beep. Whatever it she said caused [[HighPressureEmotion Mika's face to turn all red]] and pass out as his soul happily ascends to heaven.
