Jason is reserved boy with a sharp wit and sharper tongue. He’s snarky and sassy with an icy exterior that hides a broken interior, suffering from crippling self-hatred, stress and suicidal ideation. He is cold at times and doesn't come off as overtly friendly though he knows to uphold manners and always remains polite albeit distant and rarely gets personal unless he's familiar with someone.

* AloofBigBrother: Defied by himself and he hates accusations of such. While he doesn't act overly friendly and such with them, still staying reserved and unemotional, he does not distance nor act coldly towards his many siblings.
* BeneathTheMask: Jason is nowhere near as unfriendly and cold as he comes off as, nor is he as stable either.
* ButtMonkey: He gets hurt a lot, starting the story with cracked ribs and then getting beaned by a branch.

* LongHairIsFeminine: Is the most feminine of the main cast and has the longest hair (discounting Jason) of them all wit her locks reaching her thighs.

* OverlyLongName: Marionette's name is longer than the others being 5 names in total. This is justified due to the naming conventions of France, and is based on a real life friend of the author who had 5 names.

Evan and Jason are a pair of twins, eerily in sync and acting as one, yet at the same time, they are staunch in their differences and hate being lumped together and will make it evidently clear of their individuality.
