* EveryoneCallsHimBarkeep: His real name is never given. As if in parody of this trope, he shows up in season 5 working as a literal barkeep.

* LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe: As to be expected, the Spartan Army is equipped alongside their high-tech spears but also round shields that is not only incredibly durable but also has the ability to extand parts of it's edge and then spin like a buzzsaw.

* SenseImpairedMonster: The Archers are completely blind, but have incredibly acute hearing; they don't reaction to Jack waving his straw hat at them, yet are able to perfectly pinpoint his location just from the rustling of his clothing. He's able to defeat them by [[ToKnowHimIMustBecomeHim blindfolding himself to hone his own hearing to their level]], evening the playing field.

* WreckedWeapon: The Beast manages to break apart Spartok's only sword, leaving him briefly defenseless. Jack decides to toss his katana to him without hesitation, and in exchange, Spartok gives him another shield to defend himself.

* BladeOnAStick: Alongside short swords and round high-tech shields, their other weapons are high-tech spears that not only have the ability to fire rockets but have deployable spear head as well.

* AlienNonInterferenceClause: Implied. The only times they interfere directly are if there is a universe-level threat (as was the case with the all-consuming Black Mass) or if divine power is already involved (like when Ra destroyed the Minions of Set). Otherwise they seem content to work through mortal champions like Jack and his father.
