Making her first appearance in ''[[VideoGame/RiverCityRansomUnderground Underground]]'', Provie is a core member of the Flock, who fights alongside her friends to clear their names and take down the gangs of River City with her [[DanceBattler breakdancing moves]].

* AwesomeButImpractical: Her Suburb Blaster, a secret move from ''Underground''. It's very powerful, but can only only be used if you're at low health with a maxed out special meter. It also has a lengthy start-up and completely drains the meter.

* TeamMemberInTheAdaptation: Inverted in ''River City Girls 2''. The Flock doesn't appear to exist as a gang since its other members are Hireable Henchmen and shopkeepers instead.

* EnemyChatter: They talk a lot during the fights, taunting you and yelling in pain. In ''EX'', each gang has a set of specific quotes that typically fit the gang's theme (if it has one).
* GangOfHats: All members of each gang wear clothes of the same color. The gangs also tend to have a more-or-less specific gimmick, reflected by their members' names and/or their quotes in ''EX''.

* StockAmericanPhrases: In ''EX'', they talk like, well, stereotypical cowboys.

* RedEyesTakeWarning: His sprite in the NES version has red eyes.

* SignatureMove: His famous headbutt.

* ThemeNaming: They are mostly named after famous rockstars e.g [[Music/JimiHendrix Jimmy]], [[Music/OzzyOsbourne Ozzy]], [[Music/NineInchNails Trent]].

* BreakoutCharacter: Started off as one of the EnsembleCast in ''Underground'', no more or less important than anyone else. In ''River City Girls 2,'' she's the only one who returns as a playable character, the rest of the Flock getting reduced to [[AssistCharacter Assist Characters]] or cameos in the shops.

* DoesNotLikeShoes: In ''Underground'', she wears wraps around her bare feet. Apparently, this is because she was going to be a Muay Thai fighter before her character's inspiration said she likes breakdancing instead. In ''VideoGame/RiverCityGirls2'', this is changed so she wears sneakers. The main characters even comment on her fine choice in footwear when they first encounter her.

* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: Someone named "Blade" presumably isn't very friendly.

* AlternateContinuity: The Provie that appears in ''River City Girls 2'' is not the same person from ''Underground'' -- they couldn't be, as the latter game took place in a totally different continuity where the protagonists from ''VideoGame/RiverCityRansom'' were pushing 40. ''[=RCG2=]'' never mentions the Flock, and Chris is only spoken of as Provie's friend, not the leader of their gang.
* AllForNothing: In ''River City Girls 2.'' As it turns out, Chris was never abducted -- you can recruit her as an AssistCharacter immediately after getting Provie as a playable character -- meaning all that time Provie spent chasing down Ken was totally pointless. Of course, Provie's priorities had already changed to helping the rest of the gang take down the Yakuza, so this doesn't mean much in-story.
